I’ll be really interested to see what they get for Holiday.

I'm happy Miami didn't get him and now has to beat him. The Eastern Conference race could be a fun one to watch if everybody stays healthy.

Looks like Woj beat Shams by two minutes. Which potentially means Shams didn’t know at all, until Woj’s tweet.

I almost feel like MIL gave up too much and then gave up too little lol i don't know its odd, it's basically a swap of Jrue and Dame, which looks good on paper, but Jrue is one of the best perimeter defenders in the NBA and Dame is the opposite of that honestly. I also feel like Jrue is not like some negative scoring, he can have big scoring games, especially in the playoffs. Like he's a more complete package while Dame really is a bit one dimensional and always has been overrated IMHO.

So in the end I'm not sure how much MIL improved here, they have the bigger name and star for sure but eh. I don't know.

I don't like the trade for Milwaukee. I think they undervalued Jrue. Reminiscent of Celtics undervaluing Smart. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe it'll work out great. If it doesn't work out and somehow Giannis leaves in the next few years, Milwaukee would be a good case study. When you have a superstar, do you gamble hoping he doesn't leave, or do you go for continuity trusting good judgment, like Spurs with Duncan over the years.

Looks like Giannis is going to stay in MIL now that he has another superstar to take the load off of him.

They have Jrue Holiday from the trade, too. So, they’re not done. He was 19ppg, and 1st Team All-Defense last year.

    He’ll bring something.

Nah, it's a good trade. They will be fine with Lillard being bad on defense when they have Giannis and Lopez. They needed another star to help carry the offensive load.

Suns gambling on the health of Nurkic vs coaching up Ayton is baffling to me. It makes me think he has an injury that needs a year to heal. No way Portland is in a win now mode.

Adding thought: I think I like what the Suns did. They got a little more athletic, meaner, young piece… I’m thinking this was a I-can’t-see-why-not move for them. Two enforcers added to sort of protect their pampered, not physical shooters.
