As I said I absolutely believe and am disturbed that even the so-called “liberal” MSM is bending over backwards to have Trump be front and center for 2024 because he’s good for ratings. I was only commenting on that one poll. Otherwise yeah it’s crappy that our media in this country values short term profit from ratings over preserving democracy by just simply reporting the truth without favor. There’s also the issue with billionaires, taxes, and regulations. Billionaires that do run the media absolutely mandate for the Democratic Party to be presented as weak, and just as corrupt as everyone else so the party never gains enough electoral power to make the change they want that’ll redirect the wealth back down to the bottom and middle. So does the media want Trump to win and Biden to lose?? I wouldn’t say that but I do think the producers want the ratings that Trump gives them, they want the freedom to do their jobs that Biden/Democrats give them by preserving Democracy, but at the same time the billionaires who hires them want the Trump tax cuts. So Biden has 2 out of 3 strikes on him already before he even says a word as a candidate. Not only does Trump have an electoral advantage but he has a 2/3 advantage with the media too.

Not sure it’s all that complicated. The board and executives strategize, review, and approve a general business plan that involves details about target demographics, political leanings etc. that maximizes their viewerships and ratings to produce the highest revenue amount possible. Then the producers go to work with the show directors, writers, and ultimately the anchors. NBC and MSNBC are completely different businesses with different priorities. Nobody is playing 4D chess because it’s likely that there’s conflict in priorities. Watch Lester Holt’s top line doom and gloom headlines and then switch to MSNBC and it’s a different world. Im sure that the anchors are really frustrated with NBC but cannot say anything because the ultimately have the same boss even though they are different businesses and brands entirely with conflicting interests.

Umm…. Yeah the media absolutely loves Trump. He’s ratings gold and makes them money. Does that mean that the anchors have a mandate to worship him on air like a golden calf? No of course not, but just as many people hate watch Trump as those who watch to worship him like your tribe does. When the Celtics play the Lakers do Celtics fans watch the 76ers because they hate the Lakers??
