I acknowledge that but FWIW it is possible to be a WS winner one year and fail the next year..they are not mutually exclusive. I've been on the Rockets forum and on every college team with rivals..it's the nature of the beast.
This is why I think Chas should hit behind Tucker and Alvarez. If they bring in a lefty to pitch to them, he has to pitch to a third batter and Chas has been the absolute best against lefties.
If the Astros get in as the 6th seed, they would have "road field advantage" throughout the playoffs.
Failing is human. That doesn’t make one a choker or a quitter!! We all fail all the ****ing time. If the only measure of success is a WS championship than every team but one fails every season. Is every other MLB player a quitter and a choker? Do you realize how stupid that sounds from a bunch of keyboard warriors who’ve never remotely accomplished that kind of success? That level of excelllence? It’s insane And no I haven’t ever won a WS or gotten anywhere near that either. Just old af hearing the constant whining and then we win and it’s crickets
If you'd prefer Ted Nugent I've got one of those lined up too "The stakes are high and so am I It's in the air tonight It's a free-for-all"
It's a pleasure to see pitching like this. Not that I don't appreciate Jordan Lyles, but, well, I don't.
