It happens. Fanatics get caught up in moments and calls that sometimes dont go according to plan. I was an Anthony Richardson guy, but I can see the vision with CJ. One of these years we will be rewarded for our patience by virtue of attrition Im sure of it!

And you don’t get Bryce without giving up premium assets away to get to 1

He’s saying if we lost to the Colts Week 18 and had the No. 1 pick. He never mentioned trading up.

Oh ok. Trading up for a 5’10” qb was always dumb and for the panthers, it’s not just that. He has to offset dj Moore, what they gave up pick wise, and more and he doesn’t seem like it at all. Panthers put him on the injury report because they want to see what Dalton has

I wouldn't go that far. 2 weeks into his first season on a team expected to be less than average is not the time to pull the plug on a 1-1 QB, no matter how bad he may have performed

More likely, they are protecting him from getting hurt behind a porous line while dealing with a tweaked ankle. Young losing even a little bit of mobility behind that line, at his size, could literally be crushing to his year and, possibly, career. He'll be back out there once he's 100%, irrespective of what Dalton does. Best case for Carolina, Andy plays well and they can trade for support.

The McNair's haven't ever shown patience.

So this may not be true.

    1. I wanted Bryce, don’t want to say wrong after just 2 games any more than I want to claim franchise for CJ, but Bryce definitely looking that way.

    2. do not ignore in victory what you would not in defeat. We are not sure that we would have taken Bryce #1. I’m sure not going to start THANKING LOVIE. Are y’all kidding?! If anything, him saving us from Bryce only saved Caserio’s job. Either way, him winning that game will never be what should have happened or what was best for the team. We should have had the 1st overall pick and taken Stroud or something like that. Not be saved from a wrong pick by not having the pick.

screw lovie, screw caserio, and screw our conditioning coaches. They all suck and have hurt this team.

I didn’t thank Lovie. I thank God / chance / the Universe. BY was the overwhelming consensus #1 pick not long into the process. So much so that Carolina moved up to take him. I don’t trust that the Texans would have been smarter than them and the experts who were all touting BY.

For all those reasons I’m very grateful we won that game.

If Bryce busts, that is going to send Carolina back so far when they could have tanked organically this year and got their pick from a stronger class of QBs this year and they would still have Moore

Looks like Bryce and AR aren't as durable as CJ. We made the right pick.

l think the Texans still take Stroud even if they have #1. Trade opportunities would have been different though.

of course they have. What in the world are you talking about? If anything they’ve shown patience when they shouldn’t have
