The bar for perfection isnt simply NOT hitting your dating partner. If not hitting your partner is whats considered perfect then youre saying most 18 year olds are perfectly mature because MOST 18 year old people dont hit their partners. Its not maturity. DV happens less by married couples by the time you reach 34 most people are married however the numbers after 34 for dating partners are still the same. The reason it drops isnt maturity.
