I was thinking the same thing and this would have been my one and only critique of this episode. Sabine rode for a half a day and found Ezra’s camp out in the wide open. They could have shown at least one overnight campfire scene to show more of a distance between Ezra and Thrawn. With all those nomads and all the intelligence they could gather for 9 years, he was a stones throw away and it seems like they could easily be spotted from air or above, regardless if they were always on the move….
I watched Rebels with my kids, so I'm really enjoying this. I think that they may be going somewhere with this alternate galaxy thing in an attempt to move away from the sequel trilogy stuff. Not as dramatic as a different timeline in Marvel fashion...but almost like a place where time stood still for a while that can be a focal point for new content without having to touch any of the old Skywalker trilogies stuff @cwebbster you're right. They nailed the Thrawn of the animated Rebels series. I forgot how much I disliked that guy until I heard him talking on this episode
Apparently this series, Mandalorian, and Boba Fett will all tie together in some future project (a series, iirc). And the Thrawn actor is the same guy who did the voice in the cartoon, which would explain the nailing.
Started watching Rebels this week, got 7 episodes in and I have to say I was pretty impressed. Planning on watching the whole thing.....
im a complete casual i had to watch a 30 minute refresher about rebels. I have no idea what's going on. I wonder how other casuals are doing watching this. I think the concepts are cool but without 10 years watching Clone Wars and Rebels I feel nothing. And this show tells you nothing about Thrawn or Ezra. They expect you to know. and the force has been getting more complicated. they need to stop explaining it.
