    The media spends all their time pumping Moldy up and sucking off Baker to where most people really don't watch baseball much believe all that bullshit and have no idea our manager is incompetent and the catcher should have retired last year.

    On top of that, having such a terrible catcher behind the plate changes what the pitcher can even consider throwing because they can't have any confidence in that catcher's ability to catch them. It's the kind of thing that hurt's a pitcher's confidence and leads to worse results.
