It’s hollow in a vacuum. But when 90% of his naysayers use the “all Ohio state qb’s are a bust” and the “best” qb to come out of Ohio state so far has been fields.. it’s a little less hollow.

this is coming from an Ohio state fan who has hated watching all the amazing qb’s get trounced in the nfl and was also worried this would be stroud as well.

He wouldn’t take a bet with another poster on Maye being more successful in the NFL than stroud because “odds had to be towards Maye due to the fact that Maye hadn’t been drafted yet” this was all before the season so neither had played a game yet.

he’ll talk up Maye over stroud every day but then when it comes to even money bet on it, suddenly being in college and not the nfl makes it unfair odds.

So what happens if Williams or Maye get Mulugheta as a rep? Just wondering which of your feelings is stronger, the better prospect or the hate of representation. Honest question.

At me if you talk about me. Don’t be a p***y.

I am willing to bet any amount of money that Maye ends up better; but not at even money. That’s a fools bet.
I didn’t make the offer, someone else did. It’s on them to make it worth it.

Bahaha dude. Before the season it was “stroud has a ceiling of average, he can’t do what the greats do which is make everyone around them better” (I remember because I was one of the ones talking about how elite some of the receivers the greats have had)
And now that Nico and woods are looking way better than ANYONE thought they would be it’s “actually they were always good, it’s not the Stroud doing something I said he couldn’t do”

lol it’s just so obvious at this point.

@cmoak1982 no need to @ you. You read and respon to everyone. Not to mention the amount of times you talk to me like I haven’t been pretty reasonable in our discussions you always liken me to some of the other posters you are yelling at. Because you are arguing so much you can’t keep everyone straight…

It is obvious that you and others have zero objectivity.
Look at the damn numbers, it’s right there for you.

I have been cordial with you. But your passive aggressive tendencies get old.
You made it out like I backed out of a bet I didnt offer.

15 games started 70 receptions for 927 yds.
As a number 2 receiver at best. Stroud isn’t making Nico anything, Nico is healthy and in a better system. End of story

    Nico didn’t play senior year.

12 and 13 starts sophomore and junior.

In his junior year he had more production yards per reception and 7x more touchdowns than their #1. Who by the got drafted in the 7th round.

I wasn’t quoting college stats. Those numbers above are in the NFL.
70 receptions and 927 yds extrapolated over 17 game season is 80 receptions and 1050 yds for a 13.2 per reception.
Those aren’t bad numbers, Woods has posted similar multiple times.
Health is a big factor in success for both of them.
Nico is an extremely talented player physically. Woods has been a good player in the league for a long time pre-injury

Everyone has been posting the numbers!! Nico hasn’t had a single 100 yard game in his whole career…. @J.R. even posted like 5 articles that had the WR core ranked dead last or second to last.. but suddenly, instead of complimenting stroud, “Nico showed a flash in that one game”…. The only one incapable of being objective is you.
“Good QBs make their wr’s better”
“Unless it’s stroud, then the WR’s were already good”

Cordial? I’ve had several posts here trying to clarify your point so others don’t dump on you, and stating where I agree and ways you could word things differently or help understand why ppl are poking you.
And that’s all after you respond to something i say by calling me an idiot, or a p**sy.. then you always come back and say you were talking to someone else not me even though you responded to my post. Your eyes just go red in arguments sometimes and you just go off on everyone. I’ve never once said stroud is elite and will be Brady. But you always yell about that and how everyone is doing it.

I didn’t say you backed out. I said it was funny that you would only take the bet if you got odds in your favor.. which contradicts your overstated argument that Maye is better. If he is better than odds should have been even. It’s only when things aren’t in your favor that you move the goal posts.

No, it’s the narrative that was being spun.
Nico has shown flashes multiple times, but hasn’t been healthy.

I did compliment Stroud, multiple times. What you want is knob slobbing, sorry I’ll leave you and the other only fans to do that.

I didn’t say the receivers were already good, I said they needed health to prove what they were capable of. Stroud in two games isn’t making them better than they were, I know you and others want so badly to believe that but it’s not true.
Just like it wouldn’t be his fault if they weren’t performing the last two games.

One of the fantasy draft 'gurus' was asked why Dell and Nico stock was going up on national show.
    "CJ Stroud." he replied.
The word is out. People watching with curiosity like we watch Panthers games, good or bad.
