I’d say that gets us into the playoffs, but might not win the division.

Happy for the win..but just curious why this team lollygags it down to 1st base so much. Altuve, Yordan, Tuck, Pena, they all do it. I get that you're trying to prevent injury but if it's a 1 run game in must-win game, why not hustle? Chas hustled when the fielder bobbled a routine grounder and made it to first. Pena has been caught doing this a ton of times when a fielder has fudged a catch but was still able to make the play because they he didn't run hard enough. Why not start your down-shift when you see they've fielded it first? They need to be legging it out during this last stretch. I want to visibly see their urgency.

    Very happy for Dubon.

We would not be where we are without him. He did a fantastic job in Altuve's stead.

Players hate Dusty and wants him gone by not trying? Maybe...maybe not? Probably not. They're just sleep walking right now.

Interesting. The matchups I posted came from ESPN, but perhaps they’re not up to date

Espn generically puts up the rotation for the week ahead. Which is a projection. They’re not more accurate than locals who report on the stros in real time

Texas is 5-1 vs Seattle so needs to win 2 of 7 to secure the tiebreaker.

The Astros are not going to make it that easy on us.

I'm going to assume that the Seattle/Texas series goes 4-3 and neither Seattle sweeps us nor Texas sweeps the Angels. That makes at least 4 losses for each.

If Texas wins 4-3 then Houston would only need to go 5-4 to win the division. If Seattle wins 4-3 then Houston would need to beat Seattle twice.

If Houston goes 6-3 then we take the division regardless.
