Aren't the Astros one of the worst potential playoff teams at comeback wins especially when trailing in the 7th or later? It certainly feels that way this year.
The bullpen should manage to give up a couple more to put this one out of reach. This is usually what happens anyways.
we can only hope they suddenly become good as they suddenly became bad and then good and then bad again
This could be the inning. Bregman and Diaz both coming up. The only problem is Abreu sandwiched in there. Hopefully he doesn’t kill the inning.
Is Dusty allowed to pinch hit Yordan, move him to DH, and switch Diaz from DH to 1B? Not that he will, of course. I'm just curious.
This team has absolutely quit. Not sure if they are protesting something but Alveraz staring at 3 straight strikes in the zone to end the game yesterday solidified their attitude. This team will not win a WS this year, may get swept if they even make the playoffs (most likely win 1 game in a series) and I'd rather this team just not make the playoffs at all in that case and fire Baker. Rooting for loses now like it's 2012. Higher draft pick here we come
Best case scenario, we pull this game out of our ass. We sweep the Royals. Texas beats Seattle 2 of 3. ----- Astros 1.5 Rangers 2.5 Mariners And then win 2 of 3 against Seattle to essentially put them away. This is the best back end of the bullpen in baseball. It's not looking good today.
