Yet, after all their troubles this season, they can still go out and win the whole thing with just a little more focus.

At this point i just want it all to be over and know for sure Dusty and Maldy won’t be back. Love them for what they did last year but my god he is a horrible manager and Maldy needs to be put out of his misery. It’s absolutely criminal and unheard of for your back up rookie catcher to have 23 ****ing home runs

Time to reload. We have the bats, just need Crane to say **** the tax and get one more starting stud and redo the bp. Or maybe we drift back into mediocrity. :(

Biggest mistake that happened to the Astros was having Dusty return. Wish he would've retired or just left on his own. Oh well. Onto next year.

He will be back next year. I can't imagine him going out willingly on a down note if we don't make the playoffs... or he will argue there is unfinished business if we do make it... or he would proclaim that he wants a third. He will continue to follow the foot steps of fellow legend Tony La Russa.

Every loss with Diaz catching hurts doubly.

Astros pitchers in general really don't give a f#$% about keeping guys on. Get the right guys on versus the right Astros pitchers and may as well just grant them a double.

There were a couple steals to second that Maldy would have made. That's one thing he is better at than Diaz.

    ???
Diaz has thrown out 10 guys. Maldy has thrown out 10 guys.

Diaz has hit 14 homers as a catcher. Maldy has hit 14 homers as a catcher.

Is Maldy better at hitting homers as well?

Dusty is done. This has not been the fun season he expected. Front office and him are not on the same page. Dusty won some power struggles over Click but we now know Crane wasn't much of a Click fan. Crane got the GM he wanted in Brown and he'll let him make the call. No chance Brown is on board with bringing Dusty back unless they win another WS and that would just be a courtesy one-year dog bone thrown his way. I think Dusty walks away if they win anyway.
