Wow. You've blown my mind a bit with this post (which I needed) and convinced me that I'm not going to get very far without seeing some specialists.

    Thank you so much... again!

Hell no. I did it with a R script. rvest package.

I tried to also scrape the number of Likes for each post but couldn't figure it out.

The older forum had an automatic statician for each thread I could remember.

Yep. Just one click you could see how many posts each poster did in that thread.

I've never used the rvest package, but maybe this will help

    • If you can grab the post# of a post and insert it into a URL, then this page will list the Likes

      bbs.clutchfans.net/posts/<post#>/likes
(where <post#> is replaced with the post #)
    • then on that page, just count the number of memberListItem elements in use

If Alpi and Jalen (and maybe Jabari also!) break out at the same time...watch out!

Three big factors - addition by subtraction (KPJ) and better coaching (Ime vs. loser Silas) and better PG play (FVV vs. KPJ).

    Could become a big year.

I am HERE for it! If Bari breaks out this year, we could surprise people. Barring injury I truly believe both Green and Sengun are going to have big years.

Really all we need from Bari is 40 % from three, at a decent volume...3 or more made threes per game. If both he and Jalen could do that...oh my. Sengun feeds them...

I don't even think we need 40 from Jalen, he's not a sharpshooter, he's a more traditional SG than a combo guard for sure, but I think 37% from 3 with an improved mid range and going to the rack a lot stronger will be more than enough. Bari sharpshooting on the outside, Sengun rocking the post and dishing dimes and Jalen playing the super athletic bucket role? Sounds like a recipe for a fine team to me.

I don't think Jabari will break out per se, in the sense of playing at his all-star level ceiling, but I do think he will be much better than he was as a rookie and which actually be a good NBA player.

Yeah I think he'll become a net positive on the court because our team defense and his individual defense will improve a lot in year 2.

On offense he really doesn't have to do much with Sengun/Green/FVV/Amen creating so much. His 3pter was already looking better late last season and he seems like he's worked on his game a lot this summer.

I think he'll hit 38% of his 3's (mostly catch and shoot) and play great defense. Exactly what we need. Great teams always have players like that.

All that’s left to do with Jabari is to pull off a failed trade to Detroit to maximize his potential and watch the dynasty come to fruition…
