Are you claiming to have inside information that Nook doesn't? Otherwise, I'm gonna believe Nook's take over some random on CF.

Cut or trade KPJ and move on. Stone has done great in the draft and setting up the rebuild. Let's see how the team develops now with this group going forward.

He's the perfect choice, especially to begin to change public perception of the franchise. I'd hire him for this role in a heartbeat (but absolutely not as a coach).

That said, I have no idea what kind of relationship he has with Tilman, if any.

I'm claiming that KPJ got benched the season we started competing again which says a lot.... and you don't need inside information to see that.

You made 2 extensive posts trying to pick apart everything Nook said as if you are an insider.

The veteran thing was clearly Ime's decision just like not bringing in Harden was on Ime as well. Regardless when a situation like that happens you trade him. You don't wait for him to do something even worse.

If you say so, I posted my opinion and was responded to. You've spent 2 posts not really disputing anything and I'm just pointing out the end result.

Again, the preferential treatment ended up putting him on the bench when the Rockets decided to try. Perhaps preferential treatment on a tanking team isn't really much.

It's your unpopular opinions against inside information from a respected poster. It isn't something to debate unless you are on the same level. State your unpopular opinions if you must but stop trying to discredit people that are closer to what is actually happening.

It would have been easier to just keep him as Assistant GM or in another capacity.

yes because Ime wanted a real point guard and we got one. That doesn’t excuse the last 2 and a half seasons of subjugating the rest of our prospects to KPJ’s point guard ineptitude.

Stone should have been fired for his weird a$$ favoritism for kpj. Stall the development of our other rookies and really created a toxic culture.

I suspect Fertitta at least backed this, possibly even demanded it. My suspicion is based on Fertitta's weird statement at the Udoka press conference.

He was trying to get the same Harden to Morey validation. His ego was so big that he was willing to die on that dumbass hill.

At least we have Ime now, he's allowed to do his own thing with the Deon Sanders motivational effect. That's way better than the previous GM that exploited a bunch of analytical interns without pay nerds and eliminated all humans aspects of basketball to his sociopathic taste.

LOL..... So you just want to hear what you want hear.... thanks for the confirmation.

It's pretty sad how you aren't actually disputing anything I said.... and it's pretty telling how I am not disputing anything Nook said, just disputing the conclusions.

It's cute how little you add.

Like I said, you aren't an insider so don't pretend you are on a level to have a debate about it. Your opinion isn't one that most agree with.

KPJ put us in the best spot to get #1 picks..... Some of y'all cant look at the evidence and see we were blatantly tanking, not trying to put our guys in best possible spot for development.

The end result was historically bad rocket seasons that netted us 3 high draft picks and a slew of other picks. Get a clue

Just admit you can't think for yourself and are looking for one particular narrative.

It doesn't bother me that the majority is too emotional to look at things dispassionately. You don't have to an insider to draw conclusions from the evidence that is out there for anyone to see.

Heavy investment in Kevin Porter Jr raises serious questions about Rockets front office
    https://www.clutchfans.net/12732/kevin-porter-jr-rockets-front-office/
You gonna try to discredit Clutch next? This isn't narrative, it's reality, and almost everyone (except for a few idiots) agrees.
