Starting to see fentanyl-related problems now in my corner of the world. Scares the hell out of me as a parent as it only takes one slip up to get addicted and potentially ruin a life.

Yes - and right wingers drag black men from the back of their trucks and think that gay people should be forced into hiding. It is all just stupid rhetoric and means very little.
