I didn’t say running is his game. I just said he isn’t a statue. There have been many very good QB’s that weren’t great runners. And yes, I think Stroud has a very good arm.

Arm is first and foremost. But all the top guys in the league can improvise. That’s not a strength.
And as far as being a statue, it’s all relative.
You would have trouble finding 5 starting QBs he’s more athletic than.

the most concerning aspect of the game was how our defense got completely outschemed

every single Indy play was nonnegative yardage, and the drives with both Richardson and Minshew looked easy at times

okay longer than 2 games. My question is WHEN do we start saying it?

I was all in on Silas for the Rockets, but we saw the cracks season 1. Then we started making up excuses.

Hopefully DeMeco is capable of fixing that. Time will tell I guess. I just hope it's sooner rather than later. The defense is the thing I'm most disappointed in.

Why are you even thinking about this scenario after 2 games? You are looking for something to hate!

More than 2, still way more than 20

    On another front:

Several of you people are ruining this forum by responding constantly to the two trolls. I do not know any other way to say "please stop" other than this, and this is about the 2nd try.

I have a record of white knighting No Depth perception Ryan Anderson, Destiny Garuba, washed Houston Rocket CP3, and prime Non Shooting Jabari Smith Jr. I clearly don't hate anything. I'm changing my user name to Bright Side.

    i was asking a question.

He is 100% not more athletic than Purdy, Carr or Geno. Not even close.
About the same as the others

Anyone that doesn’t agree with the old curmudgeon Buck or a few others is considered a troll.
In reality, Buck is the biggest troll on this forum. He offers nothing but wise cracks for posts or get off my lawn behavior.
    He’s a dinosaur

Trust him, you'll know. He's like the pocket dog that thinks he's a Rottweiler. You can either get upset or accept what he is.

I don’t care about anything rockets related or your track record when I’m over on the Texans side.

The fact you asking that question means it’s on your mind. It’s like fans have gotten comfortable with losing that they’re afraid of winning. Waiting for any flaw to criticize so you can break it off.

Considering many had forecast a 1-3 record after 4 games, even 0-4 isn't time to begin asking questions. Now I realize this is a response to the original question, so please blame me for being more familiar with other formats.

But considering all the good history with Demeco and the Texans and frankly, the lack of decent alternatives who would come here, Demeco has a very long leash before we even begin discussions. When? I'd say If we haven't shown improvement by the middle of next season, the whispers will be justified. But the improvement needed to be seen is a very low bar because of where we started.

Anyway, I might not make it with you to the promised land since I wasn't one of the spies (Joshua and Caleb) who made it.

    I'll shock you by agreeing.

btw, Even though both were losses, I still detect improvements. I am not discouraged. The future still looks bright.

Here is my old fart OPV. It reminds me of when Sid Gilman took over the Oilers mid season the year BEFORE Bum Philips arrived. Of course they found a way to win, but they looked like a different team with the same players.
