Nico Collins only has had over 100 yards one other time in BOTH his collegiate and NFL career.

yep - one other time in the last 6 years.

When you are hit in stride... you can run further.

Eli Manning, for all the **** he took, could hit Odell in stride and let his ability shine.

Its a very important part of QBing.

By the time this week's games are over tomorrow, Coleridge's face will be one of the top 4 you'll see on the NFL.COM qb stats page.
He is 'processing' the defenses at an exceptional rate, putting the ball in the receiver before they can react. He doesn't look like a rookie when he can work the field.
The only thing is the ball security on sacks and the outside throws to the right, better timing.

The way this line is playing every defense is going to look elite so I'm impressed he can sling it around never putting his head down.

Come on man. You really aren't giving him near enough credit. If he is average then how is he setting rookie passing records with such a horrible offensive line for his first two games?

He's running circles over what Watson did his first two games, and the sky is the limit if we can fix this horrible offensive line in the future.

    First two rookie games.
    Watson 27/47 CMP/ATT 227 YDS 1 TD/1INT
    Stroud 58/91 CMP/ATT 626 YDS 2TD
I'd take him over anyone else that was drafted at QB this year. I'm glad we got him.

He looked good from what I heard.. Turned that **** off at halftime... Numbers aside, I think he's talented enough to be a franchise QB, when they actually get some impactful talent around him.. I won't hold my breath..

Now as far as the historical numbers, when you're down by big points, it tends to become easier to "sling it all over the field" against soft coverage.. I'd like to see him do that in a tight game ..

That's the thing. It wasn't soft coverage until 3 mintues to go in the 4th. Leonard was still flying around trying to bait an INt. And the pass rushers were still getting there. Stroud's precision will make many coverages look soft.

Sorry bud. No one ever claimed Levis was Bird or anything of the sorts.
You have been nonstop claiming Stroud is elite and high upside.
    He’s not.

    I wouldn’t have taken a QB at 2 if Bryce wasn’t there

Bryce sucks. It was apparent from the second he stepped onto the field with real NFL men that he won't last. Sorry you can't see it.

Conference Champion and 3x Pro Bowler is pretty damn good for an NFL draft that can be a crapshoot. That said, he not goofy like Goff and you can tell already that he has that leadership and respect from his team and other players in the league.

I said "he is him" as in you can definitely build a winner around this kid. I expect really good things as the Texans get healthy. Very promising and I haven't felt like this in a few years.

Yall just need to give up and realize when someone is going to hate no matter what. We can enjoy CJ getting better while cmoak can continue to wish on his downfall.

No one is wishing for his down fall. You dudes just can’t catch your breath and give our chin a little distance long enough to see objectively

And just to follow up. What does that have anything to do with being a good qb? Once again you point to thing not necessary to be good at the position.
Hell, Brady can come across pretty nerdy but that means nothing about his football play

Man, the way he shuffled off the sideline into the tunnel after his athleticism earned him a concussion? Otherworldly.
