I don't know if I have ever seen a team as dominant as RedNation's has been this year in any previous league over the last 20+ years, and that is saying a lot.
Ummmm, let's see, last year I only lost like 4 times, but then again who's counting......... In the end everything changes in the payoffs, number of pitching opportunities makes a big deal, almost lost last year in the playoffs... so I wouldn't crown him champ just yet...
Any of your MFers want in for football? @FLASH21 @RedNation @Ray Martinez ?? If so, let me know in the Smeg league thread. Thanks!
Rook: 372 Red Nation: 371 If Rook had scored just one less point, I would have leapfrogged him to the #3 seed to face Flash. Oh well, bring on the Big Red Machine!
Congrats @RedNation for winning the championship this year! Your team was a juggernaut and Acuna was definitely MVP.
..And several turds set him up for a dynasty on top of it. It's going to take a lot of sling shots to topple this giant and make him crumble.
Kinda crazy that Acuna scored more points this year than any pitcher (other than Ohtani, but that doesn't count...) Thanks all. Sad to lose some of the long term keepers like Tatis earlier this year and Freeman now, but we'll send them a ring
Before the 22 season? I had to trade him, and had to talk Red into the Trout deal. Fade declined Harper or Vladdy. Would you have given up MVP Ohtani or Olson? Betts was coming off back and shoulder issues that made him harder to trade.
Yeah I wanted Betts. Definitely would have mulled over Ohtani and Olson for sure would have been in play. I don’t mind talking deals. Sh** the mid-season trade of Lindor for Devers between fade and I was hammered out during the spring. We just waited because I ended up trading for O’Neil first.
I'm gonna have to trade Harper this offseason, hopefully packaged with another player in a 2-for-1, or otherwise perhaps a draft pick upgrade. He has 1B eligibility now.
