This OL could not get any push what so ever at the goal line play...want to see more creative plays from Slowik

Imagine him with a true #1 WR, and TANK DELL in the slot along with Metchie?

And a proper TE or 2?

This team looks the way I thought it would, given the injuries. Yes, I would have hoped the pass rush would have been better. All healthy, this is a 5-7 win team. Decimated by injuries at important positions, this is a 2 win team, at most.

    Not surprised.

What I have been impressed with, though, is Stroud. Poised, calm, and collected. With a clean pocket, he does not play like a rookie. Not at all.

Could have had one... but the Cards will be getting that pick instead next year.

This is what hurts it feels like this was an exact kind of game as last year outside of having an exciting rooking QB.

The rest of it felt like a lovie smith game. Defense back on its heels getting torn apart, no pressure, and offense can't do anything unless they are in a hurry up situation.

Felt like the same kind of game.

Last week did feel better though, felt like we just lost to a more talented team but this week we were favored, at home, got pushed aside easily. That's not a good look.

Pressure came straight up the middle about 10-15 times today...that makes your plan a bit difficult.

My mindset this year is just to see progress, not going to get worked up on wins/losses (ofc would love wins). With so many injuries on both sides, I'm happy Stroud is showing he can be the franchise QB. It'll get better with health. Just want to see better push from Dline and game plan from Slowik.

    CJ Stroud.

Nico is currently 4th in the league in REC yards. This is something we wanted to see from him.

Well. At least you have your QB of the future now. The defense is bad, but the offense has some potential once the line gets better. I expected a better game today, but I'm not that surprised either. This isn't a good team, it won't be a good team anytime soon, but it will be fun to watch them grow. I just hope we didn't give up the number one overall pick in the draft next year...

After the first 2 games Slowik and the defense are the biggest question mark. It was no mystery the O line wouldn't be good with the injuries but was hopeful Slowik would adjust but he hasn't. The defense came in today and didn't really compete. Very disappointing.
