I think as more comes out, and people feel free to share, like the DJ laptop etc, and Nook's insight, it is time to just let him go somewhere else. I still think KPJ has All Star player skill, but his head and mannerisms are reminding me more and more of Ron Artest - whom never grew up and always stopped short of what he could be....so, yes, time to move on. All Im saying is this incident made it public. So we only know what we see and hear. There are many players we don't know about. And that proves my point even more so of how young they both are, by the way they were behaving at a hotel. Its just certain things you don’t do in public
Maybe you're right. And in no way am I condoning hitting, choking, shaking or anything like that to a woman. But I still see it as him just being immature. If he would've stayed in college, he would just now be a senior or a rookie in the NBA. And when you're at that age, you may not be hitting women but you've done somethings that you look back on that you are not proud of. I have a list of things Ive done as Im sure many of you have too. Personally, I think KPJ needs couseling. John Lucas is a coach who can relate but he's not a professional counselor.
this is many levels beyond immaturity. this is not stealing candy from the store or under age drinking type sh*t. I too feel bad for KPJ because this dude is clearly troubled and needs help, but nobody should have beating women or their "list of things". if you are beating women already, you have ignored the signs to get help.
LMFAO Yeah, being young was hard. I remember my early 20's, the urge to resist beating women and a little strangulation was tough. Or maybe it wasn't because most of us aren't sociopaths.
Domestic Violence has no age. Beating women is not about maturity, you thinking that makes me think you hit a woman in your past and thought it was ok because you were young. Its either that or you're ignorant. We were all immature once and I personally have no story of being immature and beating up a girl.

Everything has an age, if you get help and you want to change! That's just like saying drug addiction has no age, mental health has no age, it all goes hand in hand. Obviously, he has a mental health issue and from what I've read and seen, the only help he has received has been from John Lucas. Not making excuses but Lucas is not a Professional Counselor. Mental Health is real and until we start addressing these issues, they are going to continue to occur. You all can make lite of the situation but I find it impossible to believe that you all have not experienced something to this degree.....I find it hard to believe everybody on this board lives in Memorial or the suburbs, with the mother and father, with the perfect siblings, went on vacations two times a year, and went to Grandma's house for Thanksgiving. Both of you are getting away from the subject, yes, you can talk about other cases that might be different. But this one is clearly about felony, at least it looks like it. And dude already had a mug shot due to weed possession, drunk driving, and illegal gun possession. Various other cases he got lucky that it did not come to arrest. Dude has a lot of criminal records..... and a lot of run-ins with high school, college and NBA staff. And that is just the tip of the ice berg, his relationships to women was not even talked about before this.
