I can't believe I have to ask the damn Dodgers to beat the Mariners since we can't be the shitty A-Hole's and Royals.

 

The Astros could’ve put this division away by now with all the inexplicable losses. Very sad.

 

I’m saying regardless of the above… the Altuve/Yordan injuries and the starting pitching have probably cost them more games than any of that.

If you want to continue to focus on things that largely even out over 162, so be it.

I also go back to an extra inning game early in the season. It was maybe against the White Sox or Tigers at home. We were in extra innings, the game was tied in the bottom of the 10th, and instead of having Hensley bunt the runner on 2nd over to 3rd(so we can win with a sac fly), Dusty just lets him swing away. Not surprisingly, Hensley struck out and the Astros lost that game.

Sure, it's just one loss, but Dusty's in-game management has been horrible all season long. And if we wind up missing the playoffs by a game or two, he'll be just as much to blame as the players or injuries.

Feels like Astros gave up or ran out of gas after the Rangers series.
