Peon Porter Jr may possess all star talent for a prison league, but by NBA standards he was run-of-the-mill.
I think a lot of dudes are struggling to figure out what is the immoral part of this. Outward superficial appearances matter more to a lot of these people. They don't want to pay KPJ. The Rockets trying to find ways to avoid paying him HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH MORALITY. And in general I'm just going to say this. A lot of dudes here I've seen who are the most judgemental now because they happened to hate KPJ before are some of the same posters who post machismo red pilled content the type of content that puts down women and helps propagate abused towards women. How many of the same moralizer now over this incident probably b**** about "wokeism" or the "me too movement".
its meaningless. the logic of a large contract for future moves is just so cliche to say every single year. Like i said it doesn't apply to a dumb FO. Their track record is using assets to dump salary. And that's facts. it has been that way for years. It literally just happened when the rockets dumped 2 recent first rounders and added picks to them like idiots. you haven't been paying attention enough if you don't know that is whats happening. How many times have we heard how we need so and so salary for a big trade for a star. Doesn't happen. It's an assumption that doesn't happen in this franchise. but but but we need wood's salary! We need EG's salary! sounds good to type on paper. Definitely doesn't happen in reality here. The intention sounds correct but in reality its a fairy tail just to gather sheep who don't know any better and are naive enough to believe it
Wow, those 2 are the worst podcasters I have ever heard, and I've heard some shitty ones. Constantly talking over each other, saying absolutely nothing of value, misusing common phrases, and then one of the hosts says that they deserve props for discussing the situation in such a thoughtful and respectful way. That's not how it works, geniuses: you don't give props to yourself. This video has never been more appropriate: Spoiler
My friend who only recently got into the NBA and has been a sounding board for my constant complaints about Tilman and the Rockets recently, always thought I was over the top exaggerating how bad he and the organisation is. It's funny seeing his messages pop up now exacerbated at things the Rockets are doing. The outside world is now finally starting to see the absolute utter sh*t show us fans have been stressing about ever since Tilman took over the organisation.
I never understood rushing to pay KPJ. I said it from the very beginning he's a ticking time bomb. Lucas putting on "kid gloves" is just as culpable.
I wonder if that one guy is right when he speculates that someone in the Rockets leaked the story about them seeking trade offers for KPJ. If true, then it's yet another blunder and miscalculation by the front office if they thought this would make them look good.
Lol why is everything some calculation? Why is everything like this moralized? Is intrigue more important than DV?
Why were we even prioritizing Peon to begin with?! Stone was entirely too concerned with going above and beyond for Kevin. Handed him the keys to the offense. Gave him James Harden's old locker. Everyone was going out of their way to be overly kind and accommodating, and for what? This guy never should've been allowed anywhere near any of our young impressionable blue chip prospects. Why were we so overly focused on the development of a raging lunatic with subpar talent over the likes of Jalen and Jabari? Thank goodness Amen never has to get to know this all time loser.
lol at people still to this day overrating KPJr’s talent these are probably the same idiots who thought he’d be a top 3 pick in the 2021 draft if not for his off-court issues KPJ would be a top ranked prospect in the penitentiary tho…MVP of the Rikers League
It's posts like this that make me a little bit more certain that it's merely a difference in basketball opinions that has fueled your moralizing "gotcha" more than being a better judge of human character.
KPJ fans: u better sign KPJ now, because he could get 25-30 mil/yr next offseason…it’s asset management 101
Yeah. I tried to listen to them once. They were beyond bad. One of them in particular I recall just sort of shouted over the other guy all the time and had the dumbest takes I've ever heard on a podcast. And I mean, dumb takes are not hard to find anywhere, so that's honestly an impressive feat.
