    Caesar gets it.

In all seriousness, there's too much seriousness.

I'm a sports fan because every other domain of my life is an almost constant battle against epidemic levels of toxicity. CFs has always been a place to escape to. I'm not suggesting we can't complain, but the level of personal vitriol has reached a new level. I don't know if it's just a reflection of what's in our news feeds or a projection of our own feelings of disgust at ourselves, or the traffic on I-45, but can we please turn the hate down a notch(?).

The KPJ news was bad news indeed. I'm glad he didn't kill the woman and I hope he gets help. I specialize in trauma psychotherapy and have some understanding of the neuroscience of trauma. KPJ seems to me to be a man whose troubles run deeper than most and will not likely be able to find peace anytime soon. It's going to take work and years of it. IMHO.

I'm also glad that if it was gonna happen it happened in the off-season.

I've been KPJ agnostic truthfully. The stats were there but my eyes told me he wasn't a fit. My eyes have been wrong and I figured they could be again.

All said, I can't wait for camp. Can't wait for Ime and the new look Rockets to get started. Can't wait to go to a game and follow the Red Rowdies around the concourse and drink overpriced beer with my friends.

    Kumbaya MF's Kumbaya!

welp... at least we wont have kpj's crazy to dnce around no more... lol

sometimes rules can be confusing and take time to be fully implemented... but the race is long, and in the end - its only with yourself.
    (do u feel validated? lol)

there, did i do it right? lol

^I'll always validate hearting the Dream. I'm actually pumped for the season to start. JG4 and Sengod in year 3? Tari and Bari, bigger, stronger and more consistent? Then Amen flying around the court like a 6'7 supehero and Cam playing junior bully ball? That's before you even get to FVV and Brooks both clearly being massive upgrades for the roster in general, and a new coach as icing on the cake? I'm ****ing ready right now.

It's best for Rocket fans just to toss KPJ out of their brain as if he never was here. It's far more mentally healthy and good news, none of our young core have deep rooted behavioral issues. Sengun, Jabari, Green, Amen, Tari and even Cam all seem like model citizens.

I feel like off court issues are going to be a thing of the past for this team moving forward. Even Brooks never really gets in trouble off court. He's just in the mold of Patrick Beverly of being really ****ing annoying sometimes.

We are loaded with potential and quite a few players who are known as hard working, highly competitive guys. Every miserable day of September that drags out is one closer to October, preseason and getting to watch this team in action again.

    Kumbaya you basketball brothers!!

I agree with Mr Mcflopsky right above me. We are indeed, loaded with potential. We do not only have a few players who are hard workers, we have a complete new staff that works hard before breakfast.
Im very excited to see this team with a legit real coach and you know what, trying to see this from glass half full perspective, its great to start the season with people we know are here for the long run.

There are some in the media that covered the Rockets that had a pretty good idea of what was going on - that even witnessed his temper and didn’t push back at all against the narrative being pushed by Stone and didn’t say a thing - nothing.

The issue I have with it is that numerous people around the organization and even in other NBA organizations told Stone that KPJ was really bad news. Yet Stone went as far as to encourage Porter to be friends with players like Jalen Green, who were young and could be influenced. Stone established a toxic basketball environment with zero accountability for players.

This is also why I pushed for someone with experience like JVG to be in charge of basketball operations to stop this nonsense.

There was a reason that agents and the fathers of some players didn’t want their sons on the Rockets.

Christopher was another bad apple - but he wasn’t in the cool group so he was dumped.

I'm thankful that every time I think we're the laughing stock of the NBA, I remember that there is Charlotte.
