Yeah I’m just seeing a lot of comments like “everyone saw the signs” etc. and I do think that’s a bit too cavalier lumping everyone together and also conflating being a bad teammate and a clown with being a homicidal maniac. I just think folks need to be a bit more careful there but I digress.

As far as you bringing race into this - you are barking up the wrong tree with me on that one. Let me know if you really want to go down that path - because I really don’t think you will want to do it. KPJ has had incredible resources available to him. The vast majority of people that are bi-polar don’t behave like KPJ. Even sociopaths almost never are violent. At the end of the day - Kevin Porter Jr. is a really bad and dangerous person and he has to live with the consequences.
There’s a lot of energy spent the past 2 days on fan v fan anger when I’m telling you guys… things are likely to get uhh very bad soon. Could be wrong and Adam Silver decides to look away from Stone/Tillman, but I have a feeling that things are going to get a lot worse soon and we won’t be talking as much about DD bad basketball takes. We will have ALOT of time in the near future to crap on your bad basketball takes in good fun. What we are dealing with here… is not good fun. As a rockets fan I’m deeply concerned here about what else we are going to learn.
Yeah that is a pretty bad tell - I mean we never heard of anything major like that and anyone that says....I know XYZ but can't tell you is just not believable - either you can say something or you should shut your pie hole as you sound like someone with low self esteem trying to get attention. Just a general comment, which is why it is so hard to believe people who are in the know if they are not willing to go on record, for whatever reason - I used to be a sports reporter IRL - and I value real opinions and real reporting, but I can't tell you how many idiots that pretend to know something just to get attention. Sort of skews the info from those that do I guess......and makes you not believe anyone unless they are willing to go on record. DD

I can tell you it won't stop on my part til im done talking about it. Call it a celebration or fan vs fan anger to minimize it all you want its not going anywhere.
He did see it coming - but he choose to ignore it, excuse it, minimize it and cover it up. This wasn’t a secret around the NBA community.
perhaps you should give the same advice to roosh. I watched two rockets watch one month apart and in both he was cursing passionately to random twitter accounts.
Most of us are here because of basketball / entertainment. In that regard, there is a line for people when it comes to separating art from the artist. If allegations are true, I think DV is past that line for many. I know I would feel very uncomfortable cheering for a squad if KPJ remains on the team. People can give theories on why it ended up to this point (rough childhood, mental condition...etc), but in the end; actions have consequences. He couldn't control that volatile temper. Dude is a ticking time bomb. The team's name is being dragged through the mud with him on the news. As soon as the NBA is done with the investigation, Rockets should part ways.
The combination of childhood trauma, fatherlessness, and excessive privilege is definitely a recipe for violence... and in this instance you can almost certainly include alcohol and probably some kind of drugs to the mix....but they aren't an excuse. Most people, even with those factors, would still never do what he did. "Red flags" are not deterministic, but some people are hell bent on becoming a statistic.

He was blinded by the talent and the hope that he would mature - and grow beyond those things.....none of the previous stuff was nearly as bad as this though - I mean I have been in locker rooms where players fought each other, fought the coach, and yelled and screamed at each other and all of them resolved over time. This though is inexcusable, you don't break in to your girlfriends room drunk and attack her - I mean - he needs some real psychological help. And the reason I don't blame Stone is that he took a FREE SHOT at a talented troubled player - while we are tanking - that is literally his job to find talent. It didn't work out in this case but in the end no permanent damage was done. DD
I agree to me leaving in the middle of a game alone is where you cut a player. But I get that some who didn't know about his violent past could still support him and ignore his bullshit on the court. But the people who knew and attacked people for bringing up his mental help are sick. I still think that even without his violent past it was obvious that he had violent tendencies because of incidents with the team.
1st I was completely calm and serious in that you are in here trying to stop people from posting their opinions instead of simply leaving. Just like DD because he feels guilty.No one is gonna stop for you. Just leave, that's an easy solution to your contrived problem of not wanting to see people say that this information has been posted on this board before. Because as I said before no one is attacking you and I dont recall anyone saying doboro knew and attacked other people for wanting KPJ gone.
