Lol, we both know that you're effectively intellectual chaff... but did you actually think that was an intelligent post any of the times you edited it?

Bobby's a bad person. While Bobby and DD are both delusional and often have stubborn whack opinions. The difference is DD is a good person from what I can tell.

They both are deflecting on being totally wrong about KPJ the entire time and going at others who knew better.

I guess what I can say is that even those celebrating a tragic situation over basketball takes aren't quite as terrible as some people here who use the disabilities of others for clout.

Let's face it, almost no one here is that bad. It's the kind of thing that is so disgraceful you'd have to change your name over.

Look if you think I didn't know that KPJ was a risk, you are wrong, but what I hoped was that he was maturing and I didn't see all those other deals as much of a big deal.

THIS however is a huge deal - and I didn't mind the Rockets taking risks on talented players while the team sucked, that is something they should do.

So, all those that argued about KPJ and that he was a ticking time bomb - you were right, he was....and still is.

I was wrong he was not as mature as I had hoped.....but I am 100% glad the team took a look at a talented malcontent when they were sucking anyway.

Not owning up to how far deep and with how much passion and drive you defended KPJ it is sickening. If it doesn't matter to you then stop defending yourself... shut up. Again attacking members who saw this coming is sickening. And yes giving someone with his past that type of money and keeping him on the team, IT MOST DEFINITELY IS PARTLY STONES FAULT FOR ENABLING HIM. And that has to do with fans cheering him on and supporting him even through all these things making him believe he has done nothing too terrible. Even after he did this casting doubt on the victim and hoping he is released, cheering when he posted bail and saying he'll be back in the league next year. Yeah you are partly to blame. It may not matter to you but how people view my team and the type of people my team employs matters to me.

I honestly never knew there was a history of violence. I only knew he was immature, and obviously a selfish and bad teammate.

Can we please separate violence from being a bad teammate and an immature clown? People defending him suck yes… but let’s not sit here and act now as though everyone knew that he had a history of violence because I didn’t. Maybe that makes me a bad Rockets fan who isn’t in the know… for that maybe give me a poor fan badge or don’t let me join the next watch party etc.

If this was such a widely known thing then why weren’t fans talking about the violence instead of talking about the gripes on the court (which were the same gripes I had).

Let’s just please calm down on this man. I’m sorry I didn’t know what obviously I should have known but if we are being real maybe more people who did know should have been making it more well known. Has there ever been a thread created that was something along the lines of “Let’s put basketball and sportsmanship aside and talking about whether the Rockets should waive KPJ because of his history of violence??” If that thread existed before yesterday, I must have missed it.

Let’s separate the basketball/bad teammate/clown behavior from the facts that make him a violent criminal. I don’t believe he should have remained a Rocket personally after he made it clear he’s a bad teammate and a clown but reasonable people could still make that argument if they don’t know that he’s a violent monster.

Let’s please calm down here with this “everyone should have known” talk. I honestly did not know he had a history of violence.

just working on my game as usual. 3s, pnr d, ball handling, midrange jumpers etc. I am so happy!

I would want to believe no one is celebrating. I see the posters who tried to bully others by blaming them to be haters up until the incident, now try to do the same thing by blaming others to be celebrating. if you leave out the extremes like celebrating and defending kpj, this behavior is the worst I see around.

The history of these posters is enough for me to believe that almost no one is celebrating, although I don’t read all the posts. From their posts, I can see that the celebrating posters are either non-existent or nothing to make discussion of.

No one is attacking anyone other than you attacking me.

And I never celebrated him being released or said he will be back in the league next year - you are lying and conflating.

I was posting information, but your anti-DD stance makes regular posts seem like an attack it seems.

Sorry you are unable to delineate the difference.

But you are right, we don't need to discuss it further, I don't know why you were on my ignore list previously, but your inability to cognitively have a conversation based upon reality is probably it.

See ya later - alligator, and for the record the team doesn't give two ***** for what matters to you.....or me.....tooodaloo!!!

    Go Rockets !!!!

Again these things have been posted here and on twitter before. this isnt the first time theyve been seen. KPJ stans just shouted down the people talking about it. Literally if you brung this stuff up you would be cyberbullied. Will on twitter is notorious for this. He gets his 30k followers to back him up. Maybe this is the first time you knew but its been widely known about KPJ's past.

Please seek help, if you are bothered by what IDIOTS say on Twitter.

Nothing on the internet matters...NOTHING......this is all just nonsense.

Honestly Joe - you sound very young - and if that is the case, I am sorry to have argued with you.

You went at people who did read the signs and were confident KPJ was still an immature idiot on and off the court. You called those people haters, Roosh and Nook gave you inside info on the little jackass and you were rude as **** to them, This is why you are catching **** now.

I see you consider assault no big deal juat because of who the victim is.

Did you think a person willing to do that to his boss might do it to women or other people too?

Talk about idiotic take and then making excuses for nearly choking someone to death... oh, he's 48, he can handle his windpipe collapsing...

    I'm muting your stupidity.

No, when you suck and are rebuilding you don't want guys like KPJ around. Cleveland was coming off two consecutive 19 win seasons when KPJ had his outburst. They needed talent badly, but sat him out due to his personal issues and were done with him after his rookie season. Same with San Antonio and Josh Primo. They unceremoniously cut him after his rookie season because of his unacceptable behavior, despite using a lottery pick on him.

If those two teams can cut bait with troubled players it shouldn't be so hard for Houston. They walked on eggshells around KPJ for three seasons and extended him.

Many people were haters, none of you KNEW this would happen, none of you - and you were hating on a Rockets player almost hoping he messed up, that is my side of it....it was damned annoying.

At the end of the day no one knew really KNEW this would happen and if you pretend you did, you are lying......there was literally 2 factions.....one of HOPE where we HOPED he was maturing and could help the team.

And one of HATE where people hated his past and would over criticize anything he did on or off the court.

Now, in the end, the HATERS or CRITICIZERS were more RIGHT than the hopers......ok - but that doesn't help the girl, the team or the org.

Roosh and Nook did say stuff, and I respect them, but sometimes they aren't right either.....so yeah, I didn't 100% believe them - blinded by hope I guess.

I feel like anyone who has watched a lot of sports gets this. We’ve seen this story before with athletes, a whole bunch of times. Just like the example you gave and countless others. Past behavior tends to predict future actions, Isaiah Rider comes to mind for me with KPJ. Nobody expected KPJ to beat his gf but he was easy to spot as a f*ck-up that wasn’t a good team player and wouldn’t ultimately work out.

    This.

I'm actually shocked so many people aren't getting this.

This is a basic human survival skill in order to avoid bad situations and bad people.
