Depends on why you are judging them? Are you judging based on basketball takes turning into people morally grandstanding claiming their take before a major incident is morally superior or judging people based on feeling kinda disgusted at people using this incident as a crutch to support their basketball takes?

There's a lot of people saying that they "saw this coming" when what they really mean is that they've been hoping something like this would happen for a long time and are happy something finally happened to ruin his career.

At least some are aware enough to realize that they should gaslight and lie about it.

Sure I admit but I never wanted him to beat someone up, we wanted him to have a tantrum and leave the arena and be done with that.

But no I am not feeling any happier. And not really hoping he would do that, just feeling he would self sabotage himself.

His Stans are some of the dumbest folks on this board. It’s no coincidence who fell for the nonsense and have been defending him for years go together

The reasons for judging matter though? Yes I think its okay to judge someone using this incident to push their prior takes on a basketball player. It shows a rather lack of perspective of how severe this situation is and understanding that this is above basketball differences.

I see two posters here who are playing hypothetical victim blaming games and as much as I think Bobby is a troll poster who is exceedingly annoying I doubt he is doing that.

There are a couple of posters I really never interacted before who are doing hypotheticals on whether it was her fault. Those are the people everyone's ire should be directed towards at least in terms of Clutchfan members.

    Well as a Rocket’s fan….

The distraction that was bound to happen is now over, let’s just focus on basketball. Never knowing how it would endOur promising rookies just moved up on the depth charts.

I just don't see this charisma at all. He was egotistical in interviews with delusions of being the Rockets star when he really never displayed that other than 1 50 point fluke game that the Rockets took way too seriously and he was turnover prone on the court and would cry and pout and quit when things didnt go his way. I generally think people who thought KPJ was charismatic are poor judges of character. Terrible judges of character in fact. It looked to me like he was always one step away from going off.

I’m not sure that fair. I think what he’s just trying to say (correct me if I’m wrong of course) is that we gotta put the knives out against posters here because they made the case for keeping KPJ prior.

Of course they were making the case for keeping a player who is obviously a terrible teammate and a clown… however that argument was made then on the basis of making the case absence of evidence that he was a violent monster.

It is unfair to draw a distinction there because then you’d be inferring that Christian Wood or Terrence Williams or name your knucklehead Rocket of the past was capable of attempted murder because they were a bad teammate. That doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t waive a player because they are such a bad teammate (the rockets SHOULD have waived him for walking out on the team imo) but it does mean it’s reasonable for a fan to make a case to not waive him based on that.

Yes…. Those of us that did believe he was maturing were fools for believing the rockets PR. I’ll own that and I think fchow probably would say the same that he was fooled as well and that people might be a bit disingenuous that they knew it all from the beginning and we are idiots for not knowing that he’s a psychopath capable of nearly murdering a women.

Let’s please put the knives away on some of us fans please. (Except for Bobby and the KPJ twitter bot kids.. fck them).

Same. If I could make a ClutchFans sticky with tips for better navigation, that would be the first tip. :D I doubt he is even really a Rockets fan, just some pathetic loser playing the same antagonistic character on multiple message boards.

Perhaps you aren't, but there's quite a few who are openly celebrating. Those are really the people I'm criticizing.

For me, knowing that there's a victim that might have her career impacted by the injuries she's sustained along with knowing the pretty high likelihood that KPJ kills himself after all of this....just none of this should be celebrated.

If it was a less serious matter, then I'd be all for the pointing and laughing, but this is a pretty tragic story all around and it's probably going to get worse.

See there is nuance here. You should go back to the tapes about him claiming the things you are saying. He doesn't say the things you claim in the tone you are trying to portray. It was obvious from the way he said he was a leader was in terms of experience on the team. He does come of actually as pretty personable in interviews. I doubt most interviewers when interviewing him would claim he was "egotistical". In fact Green in this specific department of ego seems to not be able to hide it as well with a lot of grand proclamations.

KPJ could have sociopathy tendencies and is able to hide things like his ego in long spurts and then they come out in large ways like him leaving the game or showing visible disgust towards Jabari for taking a jump shot. I say long spurts because one would assume for someone with his issues would be at the very top in things like technical fouls but he isn't even top 30 and he plays a lot of minutes. So ya he has the ability to suppress his tendencies for long spurts.

Let me sift through that later, but what I am getting at is that we should unite and force the Rockets to respond, this might be delusional but I think if a big number of fans are uniting and like storming the Rockets social media.

They have to react. My body is ready for a revolution, just say it.

We can deal with our differences as posters later, that is what I am proposing!

The pathetic thing is the geezer has stooped to using the victim as his crutch and trying to spin the situation around. Just a flat out idiot. A definite candidate for biggest dbag on the board

There's no chance they keep him on the roster, so there's really no reason for some kind of Spartacus rebellion. They'll wait for the NBA to do their thing and one way or the other, he won't ever suit up for the team again.....and he shouldn't.

They are still making cases for him and blaming the people who always knew lol They are still subtly defending him. You're not noticing it? They are still refusing to believe there was ever any proof that he was like this. A lot of this stuff has been posted before. The thing about KPJ stans is that they will just ignore it. Now they are gaslighting acting like they never knew. I know for a fact DD did. This is the first time however that its so terrible that it cant be ignored. You still see them pouting and saying he's gonna get off and he'll be back in the NBA in a year lol Sure they'll sneak in a "thats terrible I feel sorry for her and i hope he gets help" but DD was the first person to cast doubt on the victim.

Like what? Someone capable of attempting to murder their girlfriend? Really? No way you thought that was within the range of KPJ's depravity he had potential to do.
