Why don’t you kiss every square inch of my ass and don’t forget to bury your nose deep into the taint.

    Did I fix our friendship?

I would say if DD was an NBA "Insider" or Rockets insider, and truly knew how he was a monster and a threat to be violent, it would have certainly altered his defense which was likely rooted in him just thinking the rumors were of him being a weirdo like Meta World Peace (Ron Artest was problematic to say the least) or even dare I say... James Harden who is a weirdo extraordinaire, but not dangerous.

The issue is the Rockets really had me fooled that he had turned a huge corner, and if they can fool me, I'm damn sure they can fool DD who actually liked KPJ as a player.

The NBA rumor mill runs so rabid that it gets taxing, and I understand getting tired of these people like Bill Simmons, other NBA twitter guys just saying that you shouldn't like a player when you know it's based on 3rd or 4th hand accounts of wacky but not illegal or dangerous behavior. I get DD wanting to believe the Rockets organization, and the sad thing is, the Rockets should have known better to not try and hide a monster thinking they could fool everyone for the foreseeable future.

So I'd kindly say that the dunking on DD, and people who were skeptical of the rumor mill is kind of lame. The folks that actually knew him, and saw the signs behind the scenes but did nothing except hint at things to a friend of a friend of Bill Simmons, those people should feel like sh$t tonight.

One thing is seeing it with Charlotte.

Another to go through it with the Rockets.

Wait weren’t you the racist in the Sengun thread?

Explains a lot why you would support a woman beater. Nba needs to take out the trash with kpj and @Clutch needs to take out the trash on the bbs. There should be zero tolerance for racism and domestic violence.

I respect your compassion toward the kid. But you need to understand most people "celebrating" are not celebrating KPJ's failure but the wrongness of people like you who were so sure everyone who didn't agree with you were stupid.

Agreed, skill wise he was great. But 100% a liability. He"s done.

Not to beat a dead horse but...

There's a difference between rooting for a guy and telling other fans they are overreacting to signs that he was still a knucklehead.

He was a Rocket so I rooted for him just like I rooted for Nix scrub ass. But hoping a guy does well doesn't mean I have to turn my brain off.

The signs were all there that KPJ was/is a knucklehead. Some chose to ignore them, some didn't.

Everyone needs to take steps back here man. Don't act like people making moral character statements about posters here because they "stanned" for KPJ isn't toxic.

No one who stabbed for KPJ is more accepting of domestic abuse because they "stanned" for him.

And God damnit everyone insults everyone. If DD called someone stupid for not agreeing with his take, then DD can join the club of 100 other regular active poster here including me.

I just feel like the people who sincerely understand the severity of domestic abuse and assault would be significantly more restrained in "calling out" posters because KPJ beat his girlfriend and they defended him before the incident as a Rocket player. Posters standing for KPJ weren't doing it because they were defending domestic abusers. This is all hindsight garbage.

I dont think anyone who supported kpj would have gone so hard for him had they known he was going to do this.

However there WERE clear indications that kpj would do SOMETHING. What that something was is anybodys guess but when you ignore the signs and enable like the Rockets org did, you get what you get. Nobody knows when a ticking time bomb will go off or what the extent of the damage will be. But its best to go ahead and deal with it Just in case. Its a lesson to be learned.

Lets not forget you even had people blaming Silas for kpj antics:

Yall didnt assess the situation correctly. Its ok man, just hold the L. We all take Ls sometimes.

No one assed the situation correctly. Guessing right doesn't make you food at assessing human character.

Don't confuse guessing right to be an indicator you are a better judge of.himan character. That's a dangerous line of thinking of you exercise that thought enough

Not sure why you have an issue just saying you were wrong.

Call it a guess or whatever you want. It was an educated guess like the kind scientist make based on observations.

Accessing human character is a survival skill. In fact NOT being able to do so is whats dangerous. Will get you in a ton of bad situations in the streets, in business and in relationships.

Anyways ill lean on my super power of "guessing" human nature again (joking) and bow out of this with you because at this point this isnt going anywhere.

Because I think its sincerely dangerous if people think guessing right about character judgements boosts their confidence in future endeavors of character judgement.

Still disagree. Don’t think he was ever as good as his stan’s thought he was or would become.

He was never that good. He was only the self proclaimed head huncho of a team that could barely win 20 wins every year. Wooopty doo congrats on being proud of that failure. His Stans sure were proud every year. Can all his Stans go away just like kpj

Yeah the “Rockets got worse” from the over the top KPJ knights after this incident was so predictable. Grasping at the last straws available to attempt to come out “right” on the KPJ debate. “Great player, just couldn’t get out of his own way”. Nah, he wasn’t that good. An idiot on and off the floor.

lol reading some of those silly attempts to sneak in the rockets got worse claims has been laughable. his stans are as dumb as he is

the rockets got better in the locker room and on the floor by not having an idiot like him sharing both. his days were numbered and it happened sooner rather than later. but at the expense of once again showing how much of a dumbass he is
