It is not common for a 23 year old to date a 26 or 27 year old, normally those are out of the league or just dating someone older. You go to parties and get togethers, and women are just older looking at young studs. Because those are athletes, are pretty high functioning guys. If one is a nerd, chances are you do other things at 23. Mostly worrying about money (studies, career) than attacking someone.
None are without sin. But transgressions have consequences. KPJ should be free to seek salvation of his soul after paying his debt to society. He just forfeited the right to do so in the NBA.

Well, two of KPJ's biggest enablers from past seasons are gone (Silas and Luke). I always wondered if Silas was playing the father figure thing (just by the favoritism he showed toward KPJ and Jalen Green). KPJ simply proving: You can't fix stupid. And the Rockets' front office learning too late: You can't fix stupid.
The wording in the CBA strikes a difference between “termination,” “dismissal,” and “disqualification.” Termination is what we usually call being cut. Guaranteed money is still due, unless your contract is picked up on waivers. Rockets can terminate/cut KPj notwithstanding anything the league is doing on its own. Dismissal and Disqualification is also what KPj is facing. That’s a punishment from the league, which immediately ends any compensation due, guaranteed or not. I’m not 100% sure, but pretty sure teams cannot dismiss/disqualify a player, or at least not unilaterally without approval from the league.
