There is another one out there that is really active. All the people from battleredblog left and went there.
CJ did pretty well under pressure especially for his first game. I think what’s most noticeable from this chart and what separated him from Goff and Mahomes, was his refusal to throw the ball away. He tried to escape every sack and tended to just keep going backwards to do so which would result in 10-15 yard sack losses. Severely hurts your chances of getting the next first down, so if he can clean that up, he should be in good spot moving forward.
Rewatching the game and it looked as if CJ has a firm grasp of what was going on. I didnt see him confused or rattled even when his OL was serving him up on a platter. That intestinal fortitude doesnt show up on a boxscore, but it is something all 'star's have. I hope we can supply him with game changers to throw to in the near future.
Look at when he is throwing the ball. Nico isn’t even out of his break yet. Pretty sick! This is something most QB’s never develop.
I'm not sure that is correct. It didn't look like the receiver was supposed to break at all. He just found a gap in the coverage, but CJ missed the throw. Edit: I'm not too worried about his accuracy though. That is a strength of his that should become apparent.
