true but bridges has no on court issues at least. he contributes to winning and seems to be liked by teammates. it's easy to see why they are willing to give him another chance. I don't care if porter ever wears a rocket jersey again. we don't need him or his antics.
Yep, this is not like the Spurs internal matter, it happened to his beloved one in New York. But he is their employee, so better just distance yourself from it, instead of investigating, save your time for other stuff.
I don't know how much of this was fluff but Craig Ackerman like a month ago was interviewed and said KPJ is one of the most pleasant players to be around with on the team. Boy Craig is probably regretting he said that now as KPJ definitely fooled him.
We need to cut him/void the contract as soon as possible. We gave him a second chance, We gave him all the minutes and touches he could handle, We gave him optional practices, and who knows what else behind the scenes. And he blew it all up, over what? No matter what she said, or did, or how she behaved, even if she assaulted him first...Let it go man. You are getting paid millions to play basketball. You are young, healthy, have a life ahead of you that's better then 99% people on earth, and you do this? If he's that stupid, he deserves to lose it all. There's no coming back from this. The Rockets have a bad image as is, and are already on a tight rope with Ime and his allegations. The only sensible thing to do is to cut him and get him as far away from the team as soon as possible. What an idiot.
$63M reasons not to do something like this (in addition to the just being a decent human being). Oh well. Wonder if we'll be able to trade him to somebody who just wants salary cap relief next season.
I think it's reasonable for the organization to make a decision after the immediate noise is gone and concrete information is given to them. Hopefully it will take a day or two. I don't expect KPJ to be cut right this second. They are going to do basic due diligence.
Complaints like this are what got us here in the first place. Some people just can't handle being wrong and instead of saying my bad you guys were right you double down. That plan got us here, defending KPJ even when people telling you how stupid it was got us here. Laughing stock of the NBA. People who couldn't tell the obvious. Ironically the complaint about gloating comes from people who were gloating about kpj being the starting point and not the obvious choice Jalen Green our top pick. The same people who were attacking Jalen for the sake of a wife beater. Hope it was worth it.
He had already proven he doesn't mind beating the sh*t out of a woman, so this shouldn't be the least bit surprising to anyone who has been paying attention Garbage human being
Give it less than a few hours. He probably going to be officially waived within the next few days probably.
Exactly, his supporters enabled him. Most of us realized he should've been cut after the incident at the strip club.
The organisation was a true defendant of Kevin Porter Jr. Cleveland saw the red flags and cut ties as quickly as possible after that locker room incident with GM Altman. Stone was the mastermind behind this. Most of us fans were just fans and naive but that happens, you tend to listen to those at your fave ball club.
He IS charming and intelligent. That’s how he got that stunning girl, it’s not like she started dating him expecting to end up in a hospital…
LOL, I could be really charming with millions of dollars also. He is most definitely NOT INTELLIGENT.
I hope we’re falling on the same side of the issues with Roberto Osuna. If you were of the opinion innocent until proven guilty, let it play out. If you’re of the opinion guilty until proven innocent, stay on that bandwagon. Regardless, this is sad for KPJ and the Rockets. No one wins in this situation.
