Looks like they’re adding more police and going after fentanyl too. I’ll be interested to see the results when they review in 30 days.

 

This was a very poor political decision by the Governor …. The ultimate tone deaf move…. Right next to 500 year old Pelosi saying she will run again for leadership in 2024.

These ****ers are old- Chuck Grassley was first elected to the Iowa state legislature in 1958. Eisenhower was President..

 

She did not assume emergency powers.

I don't see the point of what she is doing. it won't hold up in court, and wasn't done in conjunction with law enforcement.

That's not what I read. Seems like it is limited to certain areas. Probably not a good look though to do this.

Nothing to do with covid. This isn't so different from Gov. Abbott's ongoing (2 years+) disaster declaration to suspend state laws. Where's the outrage?
