Make the OF overrun a routine fly ball?

Rangers are 1-51 trailing the 8th. 1-52 now, lost 16 out of 20. Not so terrible night. F83\;$- Apple TV.

That loss tonight probably stung almost as much as the Astros losses. A’s scored in 5 different innings. Rangers fans were having so much fun this season, and then it turned to pure horror. I almost feel bad for them. Almost…

All around awful performance. This team is unbelievably erratic. After the Ranger series, I thought, they are going to steamroll into the playoffs. Tonight, I wonder if they will even make the playoffs. This team has "mental" issues.

Honestly, things aren’t that bad. Abreu looks to be playing better. Javier had maybe his best start of the year last time around. I also don’t think Brown has pitched as poorly as people think.

Brown kills himself with control issues. That’s something that he can improve on, at least. When he’s not missing the strike zone, he’s looked quite good. When he has an inning where he cannot locate, he’s getting destroyed.

(I know…you can say that about most pitchers)

Got hyped after that Pena double and Yordan RBI single in the 1st and then it was all downhill from there

He's not mentally tough. Nibbles like crazy with a runner on base. Happens every single time. You can see his body language change in real time. And then the inning avalanches. Contrast that with France who nuts up when that happens. Its night and day.

Astros could use this guy to help load-manage the gassed rotation. Bielak and Blanco should have already been helping.

    Hunter to the 2-week vacation

I don't recall a pitcher ever saying that publicly, but I'd bet many pitchers have thought it though. And rightfully so.

No no no... its bc Maldy straightened him out (look I think its great that he's been producing as of late & has someone to keep him on his toes, bc his counterpart -- the snubbed ROY candidate who wont get it bc Crusty toothpicks in a "I aint touchin that" Shaker-- our catcher of the future gives him a reason to play lights out -- DUhStraTegerY always had this planned out)... this is BOB vibes all over again x WORSE^7 + Mitch McConnell + Randle McMurphy... JFC.

I am interested in seeing the comparable stats (defensive/offensive) of the catchers-- how the season's progressed & correlated with the trend of YanDiaz' surge.

This has nothing to do with the outcome of this game (I have them at L-W-W this series)... but that MF is just not a manager... he manages to fail... just like last year-- this TEAM managed to gift him a ring... he knows it.
But this power trip, Cartman- "I DO WHAT DUSTY-BAKER WANTS" is some #TMFINR stuff.
Quick suvey: How many of the organizations have you all been a part of / worked for in your careers that would allow such ignorance/incompetence/inconceivable decisions to function as an efficient, collaborative team. (yeah there are those who overstayed welcomes in previous places of employment)

Click gone and this dude runs amuck like a Juggernaut with 0 fcuks about W/Ls... nah-- I'm good, aint trying to get trapped or stuck.
Let me know when the competence in managing a ball club is sublime and being a liaison w the media isnt past his prime,
back up to (at minimum) to AJ-level standards... we all have seen enough for you to discredit this dynasty's banners
chew your picks, think your collecting from tricks, surfing dimensional portals lineups a helluva trip keeps me new drunk like Morty but im old & tired like sick Uncle Rick,
ready-aim-throw darts or twister or hopscotch with word games, heres a clue dont **** w my team & we'll let you be you & live up to your
name calliing---shame on you, you cant manage, cant talk or walk, need to relearn how to crawl & untz untz its the raves, they want their black gloves & wooo! wrist flair, no worries this team will always be balling,
dont be scared & lose more hair, this your last hoorah in the H you hear?

well. that escalated quickly. now, hang your uniform & place your ring in a shadowbox or a frame, walk away before the entire city gets shitty shakes its foam fingers your way in shame.

So who do we have on the 2024 managerial candidates (lame DuBak excluded)

Not the end of the world. Astros ran into a talented, hot pitcher and talented lineup vs Brown who is tired and lacking command.

Mariners and Rangers lost so no harm no foul.

Tomorrow's another day and I have a sneaky feeling they will break out. Alex and Pena ate swinging the bat great but not homered in a while- both go yard in a 8-3 Astros win.
