Im just simply going off of what you said, which is Pierce is a burst guy in short areas but he does not have Top end speed like Rodgers and Luck. Thats what YOU said.

BTW, Pierece does have Top end speed

In your video of Rodgers, most of the running lanes he had were WIDE OPEN, so he took off and showed little or no twitch. He wasnt hesitant, which is what I said CJ had to learn. Remember, Rodgers ran more in college than CJ, so he was accustom to it.

And I said earlier, he appears to be about a 4.7 guy, which was his 40 time.

Says the guy who literally can’t read.
Any normal functioning human can understand that like means similar, it wasn’t at the end of an adjective.

Yes, but you think if a QB is athletically similar then that is a good ceiling comparison.
Stroud’s ceiling is Goff or Matt Ryan because that’s how he is physically.
Levis ceiling is Josh Allen, Caleb Williams is Mahomes because… athleticism.

But if we say Stroud ceiling is Burrow because accuracy you flip out and go on about no where near the same athlete.. I just don’t understand why ceiling comparisons can only be made based off athleticism and not throwing the ball even though we are talking about QBs.

I think that is my main disconnect with you, not who is compared to who, but just that you value athleticism more than throwing and I’m the opposite.

How is saying “you don’t need twitch to be a good qb - Brady and Manning are examples” the same thing as “stroud will be Brady and Manning”?? It’s just saying that twitch isn’t the most important part of being a good qb.
Meanwhile, accuracy is a necessity for any good qb so I would rather have that than twitch. And again, how is it different to say “Drake Maye is as athletic as Mahomes, or Levis is as athletic as Allen” and somehow that means that’s their ceiling, but if you say Stroud is as athletic as Manning then it’s blasphemy.
They are either both acceptable arguments or neither are. I’m leaning towards neither, but just making the point..

The last part is 100% wrong.
I am first and always an arm first guy. That won’t change.
But there is a difference, I prefer guys that can make off platform throws, buy time and make plays on the run.
I don’t want a running QB, I want a QB that wins with his arm but scares defenses on all levels

Im not sure where you’re misunderstanding, I’ve only said that they aren’t the same type of athletes when posters have said they’re the same type of athletes.
This is literally why I ask if you mean athletically when you have asked for comps.

You said no one was comparing Stroud to all timers, that was just one instance.
When someone says Brady and Manning were pocket passers and didn’t need to be mobile while saying Stroud doesn’t need to have twitch- that’s a pretty direct comparison.

Looks like QBs, OTs and WR heavy draft is shaping up.
