The line of scrimmage

If Howard is out, what's the line-up? The back-ups look like other starters for the most part. One of the non starters has to START somewhere. It appears K Green,Broeker or Fant has to start.

If Jones covers Howard and Patterson covers Jones, then who covers Patterson? And is it a good idea to move so many to their backup positions?

 

The ol will most likely look like this

Tunsil, Jones, Patterson, Mason, Fant

 

If this OL could just look average, it would be a reason for optimism.

I'm VERY OLD school thinking you build a team from the Inside out.

 

why do people say this is old school? What “new age” thinking do you believe doesn’t promote that?

new age nfl has moved on from paying running backs but still believe in the offensive line

 

It appears they have moved to QB, Edge and Receiver first.

I'm hoping they can develop Broeker into a starting lg in the next year or two.

Kinda like what the 49ers have done with Brendel.
