Tell me why these industries you listed are posting record profits then lie the blame where it belongs, greedflation, not inflation.
Thank you, I am funny, though that was not a joke. That was a literal description of the job of a prosecutor. I am one of the most entertaining people though, you are right about that. Come to San Joaquin county, commit a gang related felony, choose to represent yourself, and there is about a 1 in 4 chance you get to debate me irl (with a panel of neutral factfinders to decide who wins).
The greedy billionaires laugh as they reap in profits, and Biden gets the blame. Time to cut out a few of those tax loops they use to work the system to enrichen themselves more. The 1% don't give a damn about inflation, the American consumers, or their workers when it makes them money. Republicans are their wet dream. They cut their taxes, give them huge tax loopholes, and eliminate the mandates to protect the workers and the environment.
It's easy for Trump trolls to blame Biden. They see all good in Traitor Trump, the greediest grifter in America. Meanwhile they say Biden is to blame, as everyone around the world suffers from the greedy billionaires skyrocketing prices. It's the elites enjoying the name blaming.
America is one of the only developed countries where wages have outpaced inflation from pre pandemic trends. Meaning even with inflation calculated workers are getting paid more now than they would've pre pandemic. MAGAt turds don't like facts
very infromative links provided by txtony, as well as deb4rockets on the other end of the spectrum, the half-assed links provided the self-proclaimed prosecutor if this is any indication, StupidMoniker is incompetent insofar as presenting facts
Hes the only competent speaker in the entire administration. The issue is that their PR and communication style is max boomer and they don't relate to the younger generation. They need a new communication team ASAP
As wealth/savings are depleted and credit dries up, I predict we will see a return to more than two generations living in the same household as a more common occurrence. It's a huge cost/time saving measure.
Multigenerational households have been increasing since 1970. It's not necessarily a bad thing. Multigenerational households are the norm for Asians. It's more than cost/time saving, it's also about connection and continuation of family. Americans could learn a thing or two from Asian culture and it seems we are. Demographics of multigenerational households | Pew Research Center
The core issue is we don't have enough housing on the market. People want to be independent and live alone and not live at home. The answer isn't to force people to save up money and live at home. We havnt reformed our NEPA and permitting rules in decades. It still takes years to get new housing approval in other areas of the country. In Manhattan they approved a whopping *two* housing permits last month. We need to build build
more so with latino households, https://nahrep.org/nac/2023/03/22/insights-from-the-shhr-multigenerational-living-among-latinos
Much more common in Asian countries. Once living in the US, the US culture and structure push against multigenerational households. Changing the Narrative on Multigenerational Living (asaging.org)
This is just 100% wrong, the core issue is not that we don't have enough housing, we do, the core issues is that corporations have been buying up houses and RENTING them out - this takes up all the available housing and turns people from owners into renters or basically indentured servents. DD
. .the city of New York literally issued two housing permits in the month of May. The city of NYC hasn't built new affordable housing in years. This is the largest city in the country. Same trends in CA/IL. The idea that we have enough housing on the market is bs. NIMBYs are the issue
Federal budget deficit expected to nearly double to around $2 trillion, government watchdog says https://www.cnn.com/2023/09/06/politics/federal-budget-deficit/index.html
It would definitely make a lot of sense to increase taxes on corporations. Those Trump tax cuts were just horrible timing since the economy was doing well when it happened. It would have made a hell of a lot more sense to save those for when the economy starts heading south.
Extending Trump Tax Cuts Would Add $3.5 Trillion to the Deficit, Thru 2033, According to CBO New CBO report finds Republicans’ giveaways to the wealthy / corporations are significantly more costly than previously estimated food for thought, In ~~ Dec 2017, hen-House Speaker Paul Ryan, R-Wis., who led the GOP to pass the sweeping tax bill, reiterated the GOP's convenient claim that cutting the corporate tax rate would allow American companies to create new jobs with the savings and rejecting criticism that companies would merely pocket the savings. with almost 6 years of history, we know that was a lie. corporations use the tax savings to buyback stocks as for job creation, Trump has been the first president since Herbert Hoover to leave office with fewer jobs in the country than when he started. the only post WW2 POTUS to realize a net loss in job creation during the 4-yr term
