Seattle is behind 2 games behind in the win column It's not surprising how rigid you are right now, but so forgiving with Dusty and Maldo. Carry on.
We're in 1st because we've played two more games then Seattle (and won both of them). They do have the Tiebreaker over us but let's see how they do in the two games they play when we don't play. The first one is this Thur @ TB and the 2nd one is the last series they play (on a Thur) at home against the Rangers.
So I see Stanton hit his 400th HR. Somewhat likely he gets to 500 HRs. Anyway he gets into the Hall of fame? Dude just seems to have loser written all over him.
Fun fact, Rangers had a run differential that was a whopping 65 runs better than ours to start the series (158 to 93). That number now stands at only 25 (138 to 113).
lol, the "win column" is something that exactly nobody has ever talked about, and there's a reason for that because it doesn't matter. Stros and Mariners have both lost 61 games, Mariners have 2 more games to play than we do. Tied in the loss column, Stros have to finish +1 to win the division and not be a WC, that's all that matters.
More fun facts, the Rangers are 36-42 in their last 78 games. If they keep up this pace, they will end the season at 87-75.
Keeping in mind that tucker is having a awesome year here is a comparison of McCormick and tucker. McCormick has a slightly higher ops and a slightly lower batting avg McCormick hits a homerun every 17.63 at bats compared to 19.11 for tucker McCormick get a rbi every 5.4 at bats compared to 5.02 for tucker. Ofcourse McCormicks averages could be less with 160 additional bats but all in all it is a very comparable year to tucker.
Let's admit it, very stupid of Dusty not to allow Altuve to try to make history with another AB. Not surprising, the dude is a turd.
