Gloat while you can, your time will come. Take your bodily fluids with you.....where is your franchise player Marcus Morris these days? Hanging out with Paul Pierce? Your franchise guys VV and Brooks will be retiring in due time, do not worry.
Brooks is now shooting 59% from the field and 54% from 3 on 6.4 shot attempts a game, playing the best defense on the team and one of the leaders in +/-. We were told this was not possible, particularly the shot attempts, by idiots like @daywalker02 who starts two threads a day to **** on Brooks even though no one responds to him lol. Others of us knew better https://bbs.clutchfans.net/threads/how-i-learned-to-love-dillon-brooks.320593/
Haha, you were the idiot, I was the peaceful guy, you tagged me first you childish wuss. If you want to prove your existence with mediocre players, that is your business. Leave me out of it, you are making yourself a fool again. Typical one game or one tournament guy, when he is having a bad game, all crickets...... You are not special. Maybe special in the asylum. Where were you during the Canada-Brazil game?
He had a great game. Nice! I wonder if that completely eliminates several seasons of statistical evidence? I'm not sure it does.
The most important stat is 6.4 shots a game. He’s not going to shoot 55% from 3 next season, but his fiba play is proving that he is capable of playing a role on a team that does not consist of jacking up 15 shots a game. I gave you guys the stats over the entirety of last season that showed he only shot 10 shots a game while ja, bane and jjj all played - he’s proving that again with his fiba play. Remember, nearly everyone agrees that his defense is elite, all nba level. His offense is the problem, particularly when he takes too many shots, that’s why this is important.
To make this clear, I called you out not just because of your miserable basketball opinions. Because you are a miserable person with no real integrity at least on this forum, your posts now shows it, I left you dignity to leave me alone, you would not listen.
In terms of composure though he looked solid. And it was an elimination game. His performance today should enable Udoka to utilize him as a savvy veteran. Tate, KPJ, Amen, Tari, Holiday, Whitmore - ROCKETS have a good bench to support our three starting guards. I believe that Brooks' performance today could make us push for the Play-In
You are the one hanging on to one bad take I dared to have 15 years ago and I’m the bad person? Get a life loser no one cares about you or your opinions that’s why your weak threads get no response. No one even remembers your bad takes over the years because you are irrelevant.
Cool story, I have mercy on your existence, off you go to the Ignore as you wished. Normally donkey brains like you I do not need to concern myself with but as I have known your internet personality for the 15 years that claim...... Happy anniversary!
Dillon Brooks villain persona got this man so worked up that he has to block me after a good game, imagine how Brooks opponents feel when they have to face him
I knew the media planted hate and belittling was unwarranted. He attacked the nba darlings Lebron and Curry. Espn put on the hit and the suckas took it. We also got the Harden stans on here attacking him because we didn't sign him for the max.
If you use several seasons of statistics, Brooks actually is pretty good. Basically low-end starter high-end backup which is essentially the money he got , inflated a bit by the Rockets paying a bad team premium on all their FA contracts. It's mostly last season's single-season stats that people point to to say that Brooks was a terrible signing.
https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/nba-player-ratings/ Kjm is tied for 244 out of 250 qualified players in defensive RAPTOR. This is bottom 2.5 percentile. https://www.bball-index.com/lebron-database/ Kjm ranks 511 out of 539 in defensive LEBRON. This is bottom 5.2 percentile.
He is someone who could do his thing in the Playoffs or in some tournament style of competition. He is not going to be consistent enough in a regular season setting, the Rockets will be playing regular season frequently in the next few years. Bluntly speaking, it is buying something that someone already has in a newer model, but as a luxury. Nobody is going to shoot 60-70 percent in a season. That was just one game in a 20.
