Man, we are all just stupefied by what we just witnessed, so we need to cut each other a lot of slack as we air our frustrations.

Sure, we probably would've lost anyway regardless of lineups and PH decisions, as it's our starting pitching that is letting us down this year, but f'ing hell, Singleton for Chas? Really?!?

Makes you wonder if someone slipped Dusty some bills under the table to screw us this season. Singleton should only pinch hit for a comatose chihuahua . That move can be nothing but suspect.

I mean. You replace .247/.782 with .129/.417 vs RHP. Unless Chas. Broke an ankle he bats. Not Singleton. Dusty you were gifted a ring despite your management. Take it and retire. Hell. Bring in a Dell laptop running some AI management software. It would do better than Baker. Dude is great at converting oxygen to carbon dioxide. What else? I’ll wait

Offense had more GIDPs than walks

    Offense had 0 ABs wRISP

Hunter Brown sucked and tomorrow is set for another wasted game by Javier. Management really believes he will miraculously turn his season around by continued usage. He been gassed since before the ASB.

I do believe Buck acknowledged it was a stupid decision.

I think he's saying our bytching is schizophrenic.

Dusty is in charge and he feels the need to show it by making idiotic decisions that go against all conventional thinking. Then he never takes responsibility and feeds us all some total BS about why he did it. He makes dumb decisions based on grudges, then blames analytics. He’s a petty, stubborn fool. The supposed GOAT is the 30th best manager in baseball. What a joke.

What were the internal projections for Abreu vs that pitcher?

And get Abreu out of the damn 5 hole, Dusty! Can’t you make up some BS stats for that, too?

Toronto threatening to tie and take the lead. It was 8-5 and now 8-7 with bases loaded and 2 outs. Think Colorado had 2 straight walks and then a hit batter to load the bases. He's pulled for a new pitcher.

The Rockies reliever just walked Cavan can't hit the broad side of a barn Biggio with 2 outs in the 9th up by 1 run. On 4 pitches! Jesus Christ.

Now bases loaded 2 outs 8-7 Rockies.

This one is gonna really sting if it goes sideways.

The pitcher coming in to get the last out has a 2.12 WHIP.

You can't make this crap up.

    We dodged a bullet.

I've been saying for a while I'll be happy with the 6 seed and having to go play Minnesota. We AREN'T losing to that team.

Musty should’ve retired. Musty got his ring, go out “on top”.
Now he’s in danger of missing the thing altogether.

Said Dusty, “If we miss the playoffs, the way we've handled it, the way I've handled it, the city and fans will thank me and the organization will thank me later.”

Is Dusty having his Joe moments?
This is some of the **** he’s said lately…

"Everybody wants him to play every day, but it's tough. ... It's much like a young quarterback. How many young quarterbacks come in and take over right away? The way we've handled it, the way I've handled it, he'll thank me, the city will thank me and the organization will thank me later."

“Everybody plays on my team. Plus, I don't want everybody to think there's a designated this or that. I got my reasons for playing different guys at different times.” (… Like he’s just now figuring out everybody is already on to his bullshit about personal catchers and center fielders.)

Dusty says Astros “projections” showed Jon Singleton was projected to hit .275 off Clay Holmes. Chas McCormick was .220, Baker said. Baker was worried about Holmes running the sinker in on McCormick, and said “that’s why we have Singleton up here” to take those ABs

Maybe Dusty did this to get everyone's attention off the fact that his nephew Dubon ****ed this game up.
