Tari and Cameron Whitmore etc. are here to prove things. Giving Tari and Co. minutes over Brooks if situation allows it, is key for the Rockets future. Dillon is not here to prove anything = finished product, he is a veteran and Udoka will use him in situations that fully benefit the team. Get used to it.
Do you actually read my posts? I said he would have to be meaning he isn't yet or may never be. So no, I don't associate outstanding with Brooks either. But I decidedly disagree with you about what he has to prove. He has a lot to prove. He has shot off his mouth and come seasons start, he better start proving something or all the doubters will have a field day with it. If he backs up his mouth and does become outstanding defensively and adequate offensively, then he should silence his doubters. Could go either way.
I understand where you are coming from. You want him to prove himself to the fans. But you missed the point that I have no sympathy for that guy, I have watched him enough throughout the years. Even if you cannot respect my knowledge of that player. Do what you will. You have nothing to prove to me just as I have nothing to prove to you in these posts. Im actually warming up to Brooks after watching team Canada. His defensive IQ is incredibly high. When he's composed he doesn't make many mistakes on either end. This game he found so many open shooters with dribble penetration and didn't force any bad shots
All that Dillon Brooks hate!? is he worth 20 mill ? No. I would pay 15-17 mill a year with the current nba structure but who cares. Also he’s a better player than Pat Bev for ppl here saying he’s not. Brooks will clean up **** our young guys won’t do.
I watched the second half of the game and I totally agree. He really looked composed and knocked down NBA level shots. My memory of him and the Lebron thing is gone a bit. After todays performance against Spain I am excited about the trio of him. JG and VanVleet
