I watched through that interrogation at 2x (yt needs a 3-4x) and it's pretty much a rehash of the last 255 pages of this thread (no surprise). I think Dworman came in strong, but Bump is correct enough that there isn't evidence and mostly conjecture for people to connect the dots, and for the most part, cherry pick. I think that "gotcha" at the end that Commodore posted is emotionally reasonable. I can't sit through a 70 mins of my spare time while some guy grills me and implies I'm not doing my job while he denies doing exactly that. The finishing touch on the gaslight would be to put a hot lamp right over Bump. At some point people shut down, and Bump did it right at the 70 min mark. I also think Bump's echo chamber at WaPo is strong enough that he gets jumpy over these alternative evidence. If there were more people asking real questions rather than being cowed by access, editorial control, political sway, future viability, and partisan outrage he wouldn't be as antsy or have the body language of being backed into a wall.
