I still would like to have hope Patterson could be a serviceable center. Was at one point considered a top flight interior OL prospect. Has just been injured constantly.

Asked DeMeco Ryans about if it’s a consideration to play Tytus Howard at LG: “The only consideration for Tytus right now is for him to get healthy.”
Agree. I'm hoping the Deiter release was a sign of confidence in Patterson. Green is new to this system and will likely take some time, while Patterson has been here since the Draft. Yes, he's a rookie, but came from Notre Dame and has a lot of experience at Center. I would be more confident in him stepping versus I guy we just acquired and who was benched all of last year.

Broeker is a nice player and should offer some depth. Buffalo didn't really want to lose him, he played well in preseason, they just didn't have a spot for the guy. Good pick up for Houston I think.
