when you don't have consistency in both playing time and/or are switched around a lot in the batting order it can lead to taking a batter out of his rhythm - or comfort zone. If you don't agree I don't really care.
Who said I didn’t agree with your definition of comfort? I just want to know who you think is being negatively impacted? Diaz/Chas seem to be having career years despite the “discomfort.” I would have said Bregman but he’s turned into Mr. August again…Astros now with 5 guys with greater than a .830 OPS, and have a chance to get them all to .900 (nobody in baseball has that).
