12 pitchers should be enough if you only need 4 starters and your 5th starter is your automatic long reliever.

    Sp1 - Verlander
    Sp2 - Valdez
    Sp3 - France
    Sp4 - Brown

Bullpen: Javier, Urquidy, Graveman, Stanek, Neris, Pressly (CL), Montero, Maton

I'm usually a few innings behind when I read, though I occasionally slip up and end up a batter ahead. The problem is sometimes I reply before being caught up and some later posts appear on the page. This happened last night and I got word I 'Tuve's cycle before I saw it.

Korey Lee could play 7 positions, but he's gone... Pedro Leon played everything but C, 1B, and P

Abreu needs to be in there somewhere, I think it's a competition between Stanek, Maton, and Montero to see which two make the playoff roster.

Oops... I knew I missed someone major in there. But I see only 12 pitching staff... question is how important is it to get a lefty...

As I just said, I usually read the series thread along with watching the game (late) and always stay a few innings behind. It just so happens I replied to the thread and a few later posts started showing and that's how I got word of Altuve's cycle before I actually watched it. If y'all know a good online stream, suggest it please.

Korey Lee could not play positions at a high level and he hits worse than Dubon.

Leon does not play the infield well and can't stop striking out in the minors.

Why? He's the ideal back-up/utility infielder/outfielder. Stellar defense and versatile. He led the team in batting average, hits, doubles and outs above average the first 1/3rd of the season and filled in swimmingly for Altuve at 2nd.

There is no doubt he is worn down. Threw a career high last year and into November, then WBC, then he was very good early on but was ridden pretty hard

The last thing he needs right now is 100 pitches an outing but Johnnie will be Johnnie. Ask Prior, Wood, Strasburg…

    Good excuse bro

Maybe we should get in the playoffs before we start experimenting to set our playoff roster?

    It’s not at all

It’s important to have pitchers who can get LH batters out

I'm okay with Chas getting a rest day once every 3 series or so he doesn't re-injure his back. He should be playing almost every game though and never be benched consecutive games.

don't disagree but I don't trust Dusty w/Chas. But that lineup minus Dubon and + Chas is just fuego. Also - shouldn't Brantley start at the DH and not in the field? I mean I may not be a medical expert but you would think you'd want to ease him back in...

Dubon would be a good utility guy if johnnie wasn't leading the ship

Unfortunately he is one of johnnie's chosen ones and plays way too much

Agree, and I really think if Dubon was playing over Chas was coming after a 4-5 game stretch where we played out best lineup, no one would care.

It's just the fact that he refuses to play out best lineup even once a week consistently that makes so many of us mad when the lineup comes out and one of his chosen ones is playing over a better player

I really don't like seeing DoobieDoo in CF. Why not Meyers?
