Man, I totally hear what you’re saying. And I applaud your fandom somehow remaining a ticket holder all these years… hell I had a while there where I thought I hit my low for this team and they just kept digging. Watching Easterby do what he did was pretty wild too. I largely agree that this FO has some major issues, and has since the beginning.

but I really just can’t agree with you on the desire to win aspect. I think they are prideful. I think they loved bringing football back to Houston. I think they know what bringing a championship to this city would mean. And I think the Texans are their baby (albeit a very profitable baby) but they’re baby that they want to see succeed.

that does not mean they always do what leads us to that championship, but I believe that is due more to incompetence or mistakes than I do them caring more about something other than winning. Just my opinion tho. I definitely understand you’ve been through some TIMES..

I agreed with this in the past but it just feels different now. They got rid of Easterby, hired the best HC candidate, and spent heavily on two of the top three picks in the draft. Cal/Hannah are definitely changing the culture of this franchise. I do feel like they are trying to win. Uniforms may not mean much to others but I see an identity change coinciding with the uniforms. Cal is getting out of his comfort zone and I love it. Whether his burgers are good or not.

An incredible number of hamstring injuries this year for the team. Is it the training or coincidence?

Let’s see how the uniforms look first. I’m totally predicting that Cal spearheaded some ridiculous design/font that does not identify anything with the city.

    There will be a poll.

It'll be 55/45. 200+ comments complaining about one stripe on the shoulder.

What identifies with the city? Or what are you expecting rather?

Good question. I actually think the current logo and color scheme works well. Some small updating would’ve been fine with me. I really liked the color rush unis they had a few years back.

However I’m predicting to see that Old English H they’ve been throwing out. If it is, I don’t see how it fits with anything other than being a font that Cal thought was cool.

Yeah I’m with you. I really don’t want the Old English lettering.

    Plays guard and center

Edit: Apparently this guy is the Pittsburgh version of Kenyon Green

I guess I dont like the fact that the Stroud pick was forced onto the football people by Hannah talking Janice into the pick.

Oh well, water under the bridge, lets hope for the best.
