Hoping for an Uncle Mike miracle finish here... Professional hitter who is a joy to watch.

Not bad. Pretty sure those seats at MMP are more expensive.

I would like to actually sweep an inferior team for a change.

I know it was always an uphill battle to climb, but given how well he's pitched in Houston and the accomplishments of his time here, I wonder if re-acquiring him opens up the possibility of him being enshrined as an Astro in the Hall of Fame. If he finishes this season strong and gives us two more solid years with maybe an All-Star or another ring thrown in, that'd be rough six years worth of starts (five full seasons and two half-seasons) with multiple rings, a Cy-Young and multiple All-Star appearances. If he gave us one more year after that, he could win his 300th game while playing as an Astro, too.

Obviously he was very good in Detroit and the majority of his career is as a Tiger, but it's not even debatable that he's been better overall in Houston than he was over the first act of his career as a Tiger.

Nice !! Glad I was wrong about Julks.

Yordan in LF in Fenway is a no brainer to get Yainer in the lineup!!

I like this Dusty. He's starting to consistently putting out the best available line-up (with the exception of Maldy). Abreu should be batting behind Chas and Diaz though.

Chas batting behind Abreu is stupid

What an excellent 1-9. I hope we can get that on the field for the stretch + playoffs.

I don't want to jinx it but it's hard to believe we're finally getting the professional hitter back. I remember when he was guaranteed at least one hit per game, he was that reliable. So many teases the last 2 seasons...but I won't believe it until I see him in uniform at the plate.

I feel better about Pena these days -- hope he stays on fire for the rest of the year. Abreu above McCormick is disrespecting Chas. He and Maldy still make me puke -- the rest of the lineup looking good.

Dusty hates Chas. Sticks it to him in some way almost every game.

    Reading this got me going...
Swapping JAbreu for Chomper would finish me off.

Let's be honest Abreu needs the protection. With Cas and Diaz behind him he's bound to see some better pitches.

    Or something.
