Imagine cheerleading a politician. When you realize that our electoral system will never change what needs to be changed, an undue burden is released where you no longer feel the need to cheerlead individual politician. I will never be suckered into believing a single politician can bring real change so I only vote based on fear of creeping fascism and that's it. But you should try it. You should see how it feels to not cheerlead a politician.
