It's painfully obvious to everyone, even them, at this point that the guy is done being a successful mlb player. But they have to continue to defend him becuase they can't admit that they were wrong

Absolutely. These same dudes will criticize the smallest mistake by Diaz but won’t say **** about any of the 1 million mistakes that maldy makes. Nothing but crickets. It’s incredibly annoying.
