Saying that my hero isn't the best of the best of everything is different than questioning the basics of someone's desire to win and making judgement about character and work ethic.

Just because someone thinks that a couple of your hero's teammates seem to play harder then him is far from questioning his character and work ethic.

FWIW, I am a Jalen Green fan and hope he will be our franchise player (along with a few others ;)).

Jabari had 8-10 good games and 2 summer league games. I'll be surprised if he starts this year...

I don't see the "seem" to play harder part. Green expends a lot more energy on offense than the other two mentioned. One plays against opposing bench units.

hope Bari joins this list soon

-Bari has defensive potential and body type or physique similar to most of them

Jabari will be our defensive leader. Also, his body will be able to cash those checks from the brain as he matures physically.

And, on the other side, some folks are in for a big surprise...

This guy's not just some glorified 3 & Der...

Jabari looks more like my comp (Derrick Coleman) on Jabari pre draft.
    (Just my opinion)

Derrick Coleman would be mentioned as one of the greats at
Power Forward if not for alcoholism hitting him in his career.

    Jabari (Summer League highlights '23)

    Derrick Coleman

Jabari will be a better 3-pt shooter and a lesser rim presence
(but still good while working with Olajuwon)

Jabari is going to surprise some people during season 2, he is primed for a breakout after just 1 season.

Jabari is 3 years away from being 5 years away.

Shooting threes and playing defense are good things. I don't know why players that can do both of them are frowned upon as if having those skills prevent a player from having other skills.

It's more that people tend to think that's all they can do whereas Bari will be so much more than that for us

Bari's struggles were mostly coming from his mind imo. He thought he was going #1, and then he slid. That spun him on a downard trail of self doubt and he started forcing things. His shooting took a huge hit, and it had affected his confidence greatly. And finally the team didn't play any winning or good basketball, and he showed his frustrations quite openly and often.

Fortunately he finished the season playing good basketball and showing a clutch gene, and then continued on to set the SL on fire. He seems to have his mojo back, and I like that he's been playing in these mini leagues all summer. He didn't put on more than a few pounds, but he looks much more fluid and in control. That hitch in the legs on his 3's also seems to be gone, and that shows that's he's getting stronger.

I'm excited to see how he's going to look playing in a structured system with clear roles and leadership from the bench. His physical tools are perfect, and as he fills out his frame he's going to become a true 4/5 hybrid, a perfect small ball 5.

Last year I thought that his ceiling was a high end 3 and D role player, but if he continues playing like this into the season he will become much more than that.

Against grade F talent, I don't see anything until he consistently does it. He was pretty much horrible last year, 2nd round talent.
