Shoulda probably overpaid for DeAndre Hopkins, IMO. He missed last 2 weeks with "knee flare-up" but that seemed to be BS. With Easterby & O'Brien gone, could got him on renewed good terms. In 9 games last year, he almost equaled Nico Collins career numbers. As much as its not wanting reminder of old drama, WR is a glaring team weakness.

Why, why, why is it always the Texans? Training Camp is over and Demeco still hasnt named a starting QB. WE ALL KNOW ITS STROUD. I was listening to Ron Hugley, formerly Show, on Sports 610am and he was alluding to the same thing. Its ridiculous in the sense, because Demeco can make it easier on himself but also, this is just soooo Texan. They just always choose the hard way.
because we already know it's gonna be Stroud. He's starting preseason games. He's playing with the starters. Demeco's probably annoyed that he keeps being asked the same question over and over. I like that he hasn't officially announced it to the media. Team knows already.

Obviously, internally, everyone knows who the starter is. Externally, we all do too. Not sure why the official announcement matters at all.
Don't need him because I think Cristian is going to be better in depth/coverage but it would have been nice to get a phone call.
