Diaz and Chas have both played in less games this season than Corey Julks. They have hit for 18 and 19 home runs respectively. Their home run rate only trails Alvarez.
Nah. He was really good in March, April and May… he fell apart in June and it’s pretty obvious the long season last year, WBC and lack of a real break has hit him. Even with all his struggles, righties this year are only hitting 186 against him.
We won but the starting pitching will be this team's undoing if that's not straightened out. Mariners and Rangers rotations are loaded and aren't slowing down.
I didn't realize Pena and Abreu have the # of HRs and Pena's last HR was on...July 5th..holy **** Pena's one strength offensively was as a power hitter. Defensively hes at 0 outs above average and 0 runs saved, ranking 28 out of 37 qualified shortstops. This isn't just sophomore slump, he's fallen of a cliff all around.
