Why do you post this garbage here. Grow up. Biden has nothing to do with interest rates. Biden passed the most important legislation this country has passed in decades and is onshoring jobs at a record pace. Stop being a disingenuous loser.

The war in ukraine will end and fed will slash rates next year. Grow up man

Why are people going to get angrier if inflation is cooling and fed will slash rates soon? That means lower mortgage rates next year. Quit posting lies and conspiracies

    Moving to Bidenomics thread....

So...... then you really can't name a corporation that we are stealing...... Like I've said repeatedly... we aren't stealing corporations, they aren't packing up their headquarters, but they are expanding their operations in the US.

EU is already pretty protectionist and their own version of IRA seems a bit further along than you care to acknowledge... global business laws firms are already trying to sell EU subsidies to prospective businesses.

I certainly don't disagree that the EU in general, especially Germany, made some bad bets getting too close to Russia (energy blackmail) and China (technology and expertise transferred to China which is being used against them now), but a collapse just feels click-baity.

It's going to collapse?!?! Polar ice caps are going to melt because of it!

I'm certainly not arguing Germany is facing some particularly hard times ahead on multiple fronts. Just not a fan of hyperbole….

Also you’ve moved the goalposts from EU to Germany.

Do you understand how the EU is funded and ran? If Germany collapses so will the EU. You're blindly saying the European economy will somehow be fine and there's nothing to worry about but your thesis comes from nowhere in reality

Do you understand how much hyperbole you spew? Where did I say the EU will be fine? I clearly said there are some major headwinds for the EU. I just don’t see this collapse you keep trying to claim.

So China has an economic downturn… which collapses Germany…. Which collapses the EU?

When I am in a different country and there is a dish that features mushrooms and is 3x the price of the other dishes, I assume there are hallucinogens involved.

Knowing China they probably had a "gas leak" and kept the prices.

I actually find this to be more plausible than Janet Yellen was given a "special dish". I'm not up on PRC drug laws but I'm pretty certain that hallucinogens are illegal and it seems odd to me that someone would deliberately risk a possible diplomatic embarassment by serving her magic mushrooms.

My guess is something else, possibly some sort of food allergy, might've caused Janet Yellen to feel like she was hallucinating.

    Collapse collapse Collapse

Certainly this Norwegian company would never take EU subsidies to expand in Europe.... just the US. Again, I'm not denying the major headwinds the EU faces but the leap of logic to "collapse" is too much.

What if China doesn't collapse but just stagnates for the 2030s before the demographic wall works its way through the system?

What if the US paid the Ukrainian bill during war time and the EU foots the reconstruction bill.... and uses EU made construction equipment, electrical infrastructure equipment, water infrastructure equipment, etc. Could be a shot in the arm. Plus all EU countries are increasing spending and production on their domestic military industries. There will be a post war phase and not all headwinds.

Once again, I never said the US was losing its position. America will be the power house for the remainder of our lives.

    Thanks for the mention tho
